Arrived and manager was not as helpful as other reviews lead to believe: his first words were that we were early and the room wasn't ready, not rude, but rather to the point and kinda dry, not what you expect when you're arriving at a place with such overall great reputation. No big deal anyway, we all have our days.... More

I appreciate and am do apologize your were dissappinted with your stay, but let ,e explain some of your inaccuracies in your review: You came to check in at the hotel at 1130am. Check in time is 3pm! The inn was fully booked the night before and I was professional and recommended and gave you directions to town. We do... More

This is just a marvelous B&B! The location is beautiful, the house itself is gorgeous. We stayed for 5 nights in the Red Jacket room. Comfortable bedroom opens up through French glass doors onto a private glassed in porch with wicker couches and chairs. That room then opens to a private outdoor deck. All of this overlooking the water! We... More

Awesome stay. Beautiful view. Chef Peter makes breakfast to order. Having a nice hot breakfast before you head out for the day is nice. We had our room upgraded by manager MIKE. He was very helpful with anything we needed. He gave us dinner recommendations and must sees. Overall great stay.

Honestly we were a little worried because it's an old building. Once we got inside (stayed in room 6) we were so happy. Everything is new and clean and had AC and all the amenities. Very charming - I'm picky about where I sleep and I'd stay here again.

Amazing place to get away and reconnect with your significant other. Beautiful views and many things to see in the surrounding area. Great restaurants just minutes away. Mike Barnhard, the General Manager, is quite nice, and provided personalized service for our trip - bottle of champagne and chocolates for our room and birthday celebration. I highly recommend Yankee Clipper Inn.... More

In May of this year my husband and I visited the Yankee Clipper Inn in Rockport,Ma. We enjoyed the "Flying Cloud" we stayed in. The room was beautifully decorated and besides a King sized bed, it had charming antique furniture. Off the bedroom was an enclosed porch with a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. The couch and chairs were... More

Although it is still off season, the Inn is filling up especially on weekends. We stayed in Flying Cloud, the room with king size bed and the added luxury of the porch and outside deck. The bathroom was squeaky clean and the room had a lovely antique armoire and dresser. The room has an ocean view. It was very comfortable.... More
