The Pleasant Street Inn is probably the most spotless place I've ever stayed in ! A beautiful Victorian era house, charmingly decorated & well taken care of. People mention the very steep stairs to the third floor but they are an intrinsic part of the house, you learn how to use them or take the outside steps which are recommended... More

This home is beautiful. Room #7 is a little small and has slopped ceilings so be careful when moving around but my 6'2" tall husband had no problems. The steps to the 3rd floor are very steep but there are outside steps if you prefer. The house is very clean and the bed was comfy but the pillows were a... More

My wife and I get a recommendation from another motel. We like to travel spontaneous. We’ve Luck, we would stay there again! Very lovely, in a very nice victorian style home near by the town center. Our room in third floor was small but pretty. Erverything was clean. No tv-set – we didn’t Need one. A very good homemade breakfast... More

We booked a night here after helping our son’s family move to a new house. It was a nice relief from tripping over boxes and searching for cereal bowls in the morning. We had been to Rockport a few times in the past and always loved the harbor and the seaport atmosphere. The inn has been meticulously maintained, inside and... More

To begin, it was not a very warm welcome. We had been warned that our 3rd floor room had some low ceilings. I am only 5' tall, and bumped my head at least 3 times. The steps to the 3rd floor were so incredibly steep that outdoor steps had been added, which was fine unless it was raining. The bed... More

My husband and I would stay there again! Very lovely, clean room (clean bed cover) in a very nice victorian style home removed from the town center, but in walking distance. A very good homemade breakfast including a variety of food and a lovely table setting of linen and nice china. Did not miss not having a TV. Highly recommend!

The Pleasant Street Inn is outstanding. It is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. We stayed in the basement room which had it's own entrance and a whirlpool tub. The room wasn't plush but it was clean and we liked the privacy. Breakfast was fabulous. If you are in the Rockport area, look up the Pleasant Street Inn. Believe me. We... More

We wanted to visit Cape Ann/Rockport, MA for a day and needed an affordable place to stay overnight within walking distance of the town's attractions. The Pleasant Street Inn is a beautiful old Victorian home within 5 minutes walking distance of the harbor and the shops and restaurants along Bearskin Neck. The parking accommodations at the inn were excellent. Our... More

We ended up in Rockport accidentally, and found this charming little inn on a beautiful hillside. The Inn was clean, the innkeepers friendly, and the views and outdoor areas (deck, porch, garden, etc.) superb. It's a quick walk into a charming little seaside town (think lobster fishermen, ice cream shops, little farmer's markets in front of churches). While we didn't... More

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at the Pleasant Street Inn in room #1. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean; the mattress was a little firm for my taste, but better than being too soft. The breakfast was amazing - plenty of cold items, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc., as well as a hot item each day: scrambled eggs,... More
