the inn keeper is a sweetheart and the staff are just as nice. beautiful, quaint, and most importantly CLEAN inn. It had a sense of old fashion charm. the porch view of the beach is to die for regardless of what time of the day. can relax in the morning and catch the sunrise or relax at night and enjoy... More

Very nice B&B, perfect location across street from beach and in the heart of Rockport. Everything is in walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and management accommodating. Breakfast is simple continental, could add more hot foods, but if you want a big breakfast, nice place next door. WiFi is very spotty, depends on what room you're in if you get signal... More

I was about to stay further out of town, and found Peg Leg on TripAdvisor. Much less expensive for this time than Rockport Inn and Suites (Also a nice place, to be sure). Not sure who some of the reviewers here met, but the staff we met were always very nice and helpful. We took Mike up on several recommendations... More

It was late and we were tired when we found and checked into the Peg Leg. The price ($140 plus tax) was double the value -- at least as I assess it. The room was quite dated but functional. The bed OK but not great. The towels were always damp and we were not sure the dirty ones were replaced,... More

View can't be beat - you will sleep hearing the waves and feel the chill breeze! Fair prices, very comfy and spacious room! Location is perfect, walking distance to all little sea food restaurants and shops. We stayed one night at a fancier option near by the cliffs and I wish we would have stayed all weekend at the Peg... More

This was the worst experience we've ever had with anyone in the hospitality business. "Terrible" doesn't begin to describe it. What was supposed to be a 50th anniversary stay (we honeymooned there in October 1964) never made it past the inn's lobby, this time. At the check-in desk, the inebriated owner began swearing and carrying on about "not needing our... More

The building looked beautiful, the location was ideal. But that is it - we did not get to stay - The manager left a lot to be desired. Even though we made reservations five days in advance, he said he did not have our names. After a very uncomfortable discussion with manager and him telling us and another couple to... More

We were down, from Canada, exploring New England last weekend. We stayed at the Peg Leg Inn for one night and enjoyed it very much. Walking distance to everything, and it is right on the ocean. Very nice.

I have been coming here for almost 30 years, and it is still one of my favorite places to visit. To me, the Peg Leg Inn just typifies Rockport: Quaint, quiet, relaxing, and picturesque. (Note, I always try to visit in the off-season - early Fall or late Spring.) For an older building right on the ocean, the place is... More

Room with a view is a must! Deck views are fantastic, Breakfast by the window with a view is also fantastic. Our room was clean and the check in and out was seamless. Beware of the room with the private bath across the hall, the ocean view is terrific, the trips to the shower are inconvenient. Nates for lunch next... More
