This is my favorite hotel of all time!!! The view is unbeatable! Yes, it's a little quirky and small BUT soooooo worth it! I can't even begin to say how awesome this place is and how much my family loves it! We can't wait to go back!!!

Captain's Bounty is a small, mom and pop operation, right on the water. We had first floor room, but even our room had a balcony overlooking the beach below. The building is a bit dated, but that gives it a certain atmosphere of a bygone era. Rooms now have AC, but even with temps in the 80's, the breeze and... More

Very friendly staff, well equipped kitchenette, and a great location make this a wonderful place to stay. We chuckled at the eclectic furnishings in our room; one suspects they came from a high end hotel since the elegant Art Deco dresser and bed didn't go with the quaint, beachside vibe. Had a fun time talking local history with the staff.... More

This was a nice, clean and quaint place to stay on the beach in Rockport. Staff was so nice and accommodating. Cannot beat the views from your balcony! Close to all the shops and restaurants and reasonably priced for a coastal town in the height of tourism season. A big plus for me was the really nice bathroom towels!! Sometimes... More

Management staff is very friendly, made a point to make casual small talk and remembered our names.(THAT is important in smaller establishments) Room was cozy and comfortable. Bed was comfortable, and we had an outstanding view of the ocean. Left the slider open all night and were treated to the sounds of the waves. Room and bathroom was clean, balcony... More

The location is great and the people that run the place are super nice. The rooms are very clean but very dated. The price is certainly right and you can walk to everything. The people on the third floor above us started stomping around at four am which was a bummer!

We have stayed at the Captain's Bounty for many years. It is so relaxing. Having the slider open at night to hear the waves lull you to sleep and to see the sunrise in the morning. Nothing takes stress away more than that. In the last few years they have added air conditioning to the rooms. With the two doors... More

If you're looking for a place to stay in Rockport with a beautiful ocean view then this is your place! Located near the center of Rockport, you'll find everything you need within a short walk. The staff members are extremely thoughtful and helped us plan our trip with three generations of family members for a three night visit. The rooms... More

We stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. Tim the owner kindly picked us at the station and from then on until he took us back to the station he was as friendly and helpful as could be, as as his wife Gwynn and the manager Maureen. Room 32 was well furnished with plenty of room for the two... More

I have stayed at Captain's Bounty 4 times and I would never even think about staying anywhere else. The location alone is enough to take you straight to your own little paradise. I always keep the sliding door open and fall asleep to the ocean waves. When you wake up after the amazing sleep you WILL get, you can step... More
