We stayed for one night in November, had a very tiny room and the windos fogged up so we couldn't see the ocean at all, couldn't hear it since they had storm windows in. The breakfast was the worst, they advertse a "continental" breakfast in the offseason but it was the worst I have ever seen in a hotel, just... More

We came to Rockport this past weekend to see friends and celebrate out 19th Anniversary. Emerson Inn by the Sea is beautiful. The view from our room was breath taking. I was able to take pictures of a beautiful sunrise which will remind us of our 19th anniversay at the inn and in Rockport. All the people from the Inn... More

We recently stayed for one night at the Emerson Inn, and have to say that we were somewhat disappointed in our accommodations. We were able to look at 4 different king rooms, and then we picked what we thought was the nicest. We just feel there was no thought given to the decor of the room. When looking online, we... More

This was a perfect New England Inn. A very grand parlor, huge porch with rocking chairs, cozy rooms, and an amazing breakfast included. It was a little further from the center of town than we would have liked, but that should not deter you. And the pianist, on a rainy Septemer night, that says it all. More

Finally found hotel, 3 mls from rockport. Told we'd been upgraded to room102 on ground floor. Looked nice but next to offices so when phone started ringing at 22.45 we were stuffed, no chance of a lie in as no curtains just blinds and staff parked outside window. Well intentioned owners but rescued by good staff! Don't try the Atlantic... More

We booked this hotel through Virgin, and although we agreed with their comments on the wonderful views from the front, the hotel rooms were disappointing. We were on the 4th. floor, in a room that faced the rear of the property, overlooking a road and the front of a neighbouring property. The room itself was very small (about half the... More

This hotel had beautiful views over the cliffs into the sea which was nice. However, if you want a hotel near to the harbour forget it. A downside to this hotel was that we had to drive into town to actually walk around Rockport, this is a shame. I loved the nautical decor in reception and the hallways. I was... More

A couple of miles from the picturesque town of Rockport, this historic house has bags of charm, with a fantastic seaview. Staff were welcoming but lacked a bit of life. Our room was at the rear, although charming, it was quite small with a noisy air con. The dining room was lovely, with views across the gardens to he sea.... More

The three days we spent here were brilliant - incredible location, great food, helpful and friendly staff. Sitting on the balcony eating breakfast and dinner overlooking the ocean - life does not get better. More
