If you are looking for peace and quiet witha beautiful view of the sea, this is it. Cozy and comfortable hotel. A pleasant change from the chain hotels. Breakfast was fantastic. Would/will probably return here.

We used to live in Rockport and wanted to return for our Anniversary. This is a very laid back Inn. If you are coming to relax, this is the place. If you expect full attention to details, go elsewhere. Literature says full breakfast, but confirmation said continential breakfast. When I questioned it, we got a full breakfast ---cooked to order!...

Our family has been meeting in Rockport for 25 years, the last 9 at the Seaward Inn.
It is a great place for us to meet, this year the head-count was 19. From age 4 to 67 each person looks forward to our September weekend on Cape Ann. The kids even play 'packing a bag' and heading to the bedroom....

This was our second visit to the Seaward Inn and we will be back again. The Inn has a quaint, unpretentious charm while still being extremely comfortable. Our second floor room this time was "Lover's Cove" and it had a beautiful view of Gully Cove. We saw amazing sunrises each morning over the water and the garden is laden with...

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Seaward Inn for the Fourth of July. It is a great location right on the water with beautiful views. It is in an adorable neighborhood with gorgeous flowers. Nice areas for walking. Our room was decorated very nicely with a comfortable bed. There was a good assortment for breakfast each morning. And...

This inn/b&b is a favorite for many repeat visitors, although this was our first stay. On google, the inn is 1.4 miles from the center of Rockport, but really it is about a miles via the garden sea walking path along the ocean. In the heat of July, with the tough parking in town, we did this walk multiple times...

This is beautifully situated overlooking the sea. There is a lovely walk along the cliffs to Rockport which takes about 15mins, otherwise 5 mins by car.
A very friendly welcome when booking in and throughout our stay they were always ready to help. It was rather cold in the rooms due to unseasonal weather and they were kind enough to...

Stayed in the Gull's Nest with my wife and two very young girls.
Very pleasant inn, our room was in a building set off to the side, which was very quiet and convenient. Seemed much better for our needs, with the young ones, main inn appeared to be very nice but probably a better option for couples.
Staff was very...

We took a two room cottage that was surprisingly small, cleanliness was ok and furnishings were pretty basic. Felt more like a two-three star hotel bedroom than a fairly pricey B&B. Service was also relatively impersonal, except for two young guys serving breakfast who were good (so was the breakfast). The view is very good especially in the breakfast room...

I would like to personally apologize for the negative aspects of your stay, I completely agree that a B&B experience should be all about feeling like a home away from home. I am disappointed and saddened that you did not receive the high level of personal hospitality the majority of our guests experience.
In response to the wireless internet issue,...
