worst room i ever stayed in by far. other than the view it was terrible, gave this a try because lots of places were sold out, never again! i can do with it being out dated, but towels were the size of handtowels, needed several a day so we had to go help ourselves and they hurt they were so... I had read many reviews of the Breakwater before booking and I was a little skeptical about it. We were taking our dog with us and weren't sure if she would like the beach so we didn't want to book a pricey hotel if we were going to have to leave. The room we stayed in was very small which... I have probably stayed at this place 15 times. I like it because it is in front of the beach, animal friendly, and affordable by Ptown standards. The last time I went we had an issue with our room which was out of the owners control. The brother and sister team running the motel showed us that our business mattered... More

My wife and I are avid runners and cyclists and the Breakwater Motel was perfect for us. Once we parked we never drove our car again until we left. We cycled to four of the major beaches and used the shuttle (bus stop right outside our door) to go into PTown in the evening. What we liked: WiFi, bay swimming... More

This is a Motel not a hotel. It was wonderful but these are the kind of places we love. We look for the retro type motel. Beds were comfortable clean rooms. Directly across from cape cod bay, if you are going to commercial street everyday you will need a car or take the bus which stops right in front of... More

The customer service was friendly and the room was affordable and how much time do you really spend in the room...we thought. Well the room was very outdated, worn and not fresh at all. Shower wasn't the cleanest either. We enjoyed the amazing sunrise and sunsets and that made it worth it but definitely wouldn't stay again unless they updated... More

Rented a room there for about $200 for one night in August for last minute get away. Read a few reviews online, sounded ok, but not great. Got there, the room was disgusting, although the bathroom appeared rather clean. Smelled foul, bedding had a variety of human hair in the blankets and sheets with cigarette burns to top it off.... The staff was friendly upon check in. The room had a lot to be desired to say the least. The place needs a total makeover in order to justify the prices they charge. The furniture on the deck overlooking the beach needs replacing as well. It's pretty gross, old and some falling apart. The first night we were there we... More

Looks like the last modification to this hotel was 1960. It is one of the most disgusting places I have ever stayed. Complete with black pubic hairs in the shower and sink from the previous guest(s). The only good thing is the view if your lucky enough to get the 5 rooms in the front. I would definitely pay the... More

We booked one of the most expensive room with the king bed and view . The TV was one of the small old 28/30 inch ones. That was fine because we don't watch much TV.The night we arrived the TV cable box was broken,The owner replaced it. The next morning the shower did not work. The owner switched us to... More
