The art in the B&B is both stimulating and soothing at the same time and the staff and owners were very friendly and extremely accommodating. The house is in an excellent location to quickly enjoy downtown or take a few minutes and you have the breathtaking view of the dunes. I highly recommend the John Randall House.

We booked this through Living Social. although the discount rate had expired, the staff was good about honoring the payment we'd made, as well as the fruit baskets per room. Decor was superb, as was staff. Very quiet. Rooms were nicely appointed. Our friends ended up in the pet-friendly room, which smelled like dog. Continental breakfast was nice. Veey conveniently... I stayed here for a quiet long weekend to relax. The artistic decor throughout the house is amazing; the pictures really don't do it justice. I stayed on the 2nd floor in a room with a shared bathroom and it was perfect. There were plenty of extra towels / soap / shampoo in the bathroom. The room was clean, comfortable,... More

I stayed at this B&B on a nice weekend in September and found the place just what I was looking for. The house is well decorated with lovely African-inspired art and my room was charming and clean. I shared the well done bathroom with one other woman whom I never actually saw. The owners are very low key and unobtrusive;... More

Good value for the money, great location in walking distance to food, shopping and all the action. The room was on the 3rd floor - rather small but comfortable. No AC but ventilated enough with the window. Fans are available but we did not need them. Other floors have AC units. Breakfast was good.

Enjoyed my stay here. My room was on the top floor and luckily it was not hot for my visit. I had two fans and a shared bath with just one other guest on that floor which was great. I loved the view out the bathroom window to the back of Provincetown beyond, it was beautiful. The house was clean,... More

John Randall House is more than meets the eye - especially if you are booking your reservation from looking at the website. First of all, the pictures of the rooms don't do them justice (they should really invest in better photos). I had booked a room on the second floor, but upon check in, was told that I was being... Dropped by for a quick visit during the Girls' Splash Absolute Vodka Stroll, and the hosts put on an amazing spread of food, and great hospitality. I'm certain they are equally great with their inn guests!

This was my second stay at John Randall House. Don and Tim are wonderful hosts and once again made me feel very welcome. This B&B is in a great location near the wharf and Commercial Street. You can't go wrong with this place.

I just came back from visiting Provincetown with my girlfriend, sister, and some friends for the Fourth of July weekend . There were 12 of us that stayed at the John Randall House. This was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and I enjoyed my stay very much. The location was only a few blocks from the... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The John Randall House...a rambling twelve-room inn right in the very heart of Provincetown. Built at the turn of the century in 1900, the house was designed and built by the town doctor for his family. With five children, the doctor and his wife needed p1enty of room and space for their family. Most of the house remains the same as when the family occupied the home. Only two additional walls have been added to divide and create more guestrooms. All of the original woodworking and hardwood floors remain instilling a Victorian charm. The building behind the main house, which is now two condominium units, served as the doctor's Office and garage. The building directly across the street from The John Randall House was the town morgue. The doctor's wife wanted to have and operate a bed and breakfast so they purchased the building next door to us, which is now The SunSet Inn. She ran the business as a hobby for many years. The House remained in the doctor's family for many years until passing into the hands of a local family. From that family the house was passed down to a son who converted the family home into a bed and breakfast. In the past The John Randall House was previously known as Crosswinds Inn. ... more   less
