The Carpe Diem is wonderful - it's well located just a few minutes from the main part of town but far enough away to be peaceful. Really lovely shared patio where wine and cheese are served every afternoon - it's a very sociable place and you will be made to feel very welcome by the brilliant hosts. Nothing was too... more

I was looking to treat myself to a well deserved retreat, and from their website Carpe Diem looked to be a perfect fit. I have to say, it lived up to my every expectation as far as the wonderful room (George Sand) and the promised amenities, but the owners and staff were what made Carpe Diem really stand out. Everyone... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carpe Diem, as the staff was so great (even before we were there they took care of all our dinner bookings and gave as tipps what to do etc.) and it just felt as coming home. Upon arrival we were shown around the whole B&B, the really nice "living room" next to the... more

My husband and I got married in Provincetown and spent our wedding weekend at Carpe Diem! We could not have asked for anything more. It was fantastic. Our room (Robert Frost) was a true wedding suite, we enjoyed the beautiful setting, facilities, spa... The owners and all staff made us feel home and took really good care of us. The... more

This was certainly the most wonderful stay we ever had at a bed-and-breakfast. It might be slightly more expensive than some other places, but it was worth every penny! more

My partner and I spend Thanksgiving Week in Provincetown every year. After three years at one fine establishment, we decided to try the Carpe Diem. And we were so glad that we did. It's a lovely property, with beautiful rooms and the most friendly and helpful owners and staff we've ever encountered in P'town. Everyone there-- Hans, Jurgen, Herbie, Jerrod--... more

The guesthouse itself is beautiful, both rooms I stayed in were wonderfully decorated, deliciously comfortable, with all mod cons you would expect and above all unique - this is no Hilton where every room is identical. The courtyard was an oasis of tranquility away from busy P'town and the spa offers everything you could want. But above all it was... more

Negatives - Booked a particular room but on arrival the room had been given to someone else - not really a problem for me but could be for some guests. Hair dryer /shaver socket - not working and one of the floor standing lights had a loose bulb holder - not sure whether safety was then an issue. Both my... more

When we arrived at Carpe Diem, I said to my daughters, 'this is Paradise!' What is wonderful is the careful, thoughtful attention to detail and the immaculate taste showed in the design of every feature. So sherry, port, every imaginable tea, and wine and cheese (laid out on a lovely terrace) were available when we arrived late afternoon/ early evening;... more
