Great location (a block off of Commercial). Prices are comparable with other B&Bs in the area. The innkeepers were nice guys and very accommodating. Rented a room on the recommendation of a friend, and was very surprised with the hospitality of the hosts/owners. Our dog was not a problem, the fireplace in our room was perfect for the rainy days, and Guy & Luiz even had a barbecue cookout for all the guests while we were there. I booked the Black Peal at the last minute for a quick overnight in ptown. I've stayed in some wonderful places in ptown, but chose here because they accept dogs. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are very big(I was in a suite). However the hotel is falling apart. My window screen was taped in, my blinds did not work and the rooms are FILTHY. I think this could be a great hotel if the owners pay more attention on upkeep and maintenance. more
