Booked at a great rate on Tripadvisor for 2-day stay in P-town. House was very nice - hosts Robert and Ken were wonderful. Patio set in backyard for bringing in something if you don't want to eat out a great idea. Quiet neighborhood with a 3 minute walk to all the activities of P-town. High recommend this guesthouse.

We've stayed at the Ampersand twice and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Provincetown. Robert and Ken are gracious hosts who are happy to help you, and their guesthouse is beautiful and impeccably maintained. We love staying in Room 9, right off a terrace that offers fine views of the harbor and west end--perfect for drinking our morning coffee... More

I have been going to Ptown for over 25 years and have stayed in many guest houses but this guest house is the best one by a long shot. I have been staying in Ampersand for the past 7 years or so because once I stayed here I did not want to go anywhere else. Ken and Robert, the owners,... More

We stayed here last night and had a fabulous time!! Ken and Robert were great hosts! The location is perfect to walk to town and in a beautiful upscale area of town. The muffins in the morning were delicious and warm from the oven... We look forward to staying here again!!!

My partner and I have visited Provincetown a number of times, and we always stay in the West End. This was the first time we were able to stay at the Ampersand (fully booked on previous occasions). We stayed for a week. Found the owners Ken and Robert to be very friendly and helpful if we had any questions -... More

The owners are nice, professional. The room was outdated. the TV w/built in VCR was a blast from the 70's. Bathroom very small and shower kept leaking. All faucets/light fixtures in bathrrom quite tarnished and rusty. Furniture quite dated. Room smelled moldy. It just felt unclean to us. The location is absolutely fantastic. there REALLY needs to be some modernization/face-lifting... More

My partner and I have visited Provincetown on 14 occasions since 1996 and for the past three visits stayed at the Ampersand. The owners are friendly and professional, the rooms are clean, and the location in the West End is convenient for downtown and beach access as well as being very quiet (great for sleeping with the windows open). On... More

It was our second stay in Ampersand guesthouse, for us it was heaven. Quiet and yet very close from Commercial street and Herringcove beach. Very reasonable prices for Ptown, very nice coffee and fresh cakes in the morning, owners are extremely discreet yet always attentive to your needs.

Year three and we have become more than fans & repeat guests of the Ampersand. We stayed at the property two more times this season. One time, however, we couldn't get the roomy studio apartment that we usually book. It really didn't matter: the different room, although smaller, was just as nice, clean and cozy. During our stay, we had... More

We have stayed at the Ampersand in the past so our expectations were set appropriately. We like the convenient West End location and the reasonable rates. It’s a comfortable walk from the restaurants and bars on Commercial Street and it’s walkable to the beach. The house itself is about 200 years old with quirky charm. The upper deck has a... More
