From the view out our room to the wonderful morning muffins and stimulating conversation, this has got to be the best value in Provincetown. We were impressed with the location, cleanliness, the interactions with the owners and the overall ambience of the house. We will definately come back again and again. more

Over the years, I've had several happy visits to Ampersand, usually during the summer season but once for the New Year's holiday. I've always felt comfortable, no matter which of the rooms I've stayed in (probably six different ones). The location makes an easy walk to many of the town's attractions, but it is away from the tumult of the... more

A walk down Cottage Street towards the ocean (or 'makai' as they say it in Hawaii) will charm you as you admire the gardens and the stately houses on this particular street on the West side of town (so quiet and calming). As you continue walking you will stop at 6 Cottage Street with it's white picket fence and notice... more

The owners were very nice. I loved the little quaint rooms. There were very imformative as to which room would best accomadate my needs. The muffins were rememberable and very tasty. Thank you. more

This was our second stay at The Ampersand, and we chose a smaller room for this trip. We were on the first floor of the little house, and were initially concerned that it may be noisy or feel less private due to the location. We were pleasantly surprised that our stay was just as comfortable in that room as it... more

A cozy, unforgettable weekend. I stayed at the Ampersand this winter and although family caretaking kept me totally occupied since then (and remiss on my review writing) I’ve often thought of my cozy, charming room. The inn and setting was lovely, refreshing and serene. In addition, the host’s were so thoughtful and gracious I felt truly taken-care of. I look... more

My spouse and I stayed at the Ampersand over Valentine's Day weekend. The accommodations were comfortable but not fussy. Our room was clean and neat upon our arrival. Our hosts, Robert and Ken, were very pleasant and made us feel welcome. Their puppy is an adorable bundle of energy! The location on a quiet street in Provincetown's west end was... more

I have been coming to the Ampersand once or twice each year since 1989 and would not consider staying anywhere else in Provincetown. The accommodations are meticulously clean and comfortable; the location is ideal (close to town and beaches but sufficiently off the main streets to ensure peace and quiet); and the hosts are engaging, friendly, and anxious to make... more

I travel frequently and have stayed at many kinds of accommodations, ranging from large hotels to single rooms that people rent out in their homes. I've stayed at Ampersand many times, and in my opinion, Ampersand is tops. The house is beautiful and in a convenient location in a quiet area of Provincetown. The owners, Robert and Ken, are friendly... more

I found myself booking a last minute trip with friends to Provincetown in mid-October, and of course my first choice of accommodation was the Ampersand. This was an unusual visit as it was not planned and I would be traveling without my partner. I called Robert and Ken and they were able to put me in one of my favorite... more
