Sandcastle Resort has been undergoing renovations for the last couple of years and it's got a great new feel and look since I last stayed there. The suite we stayed in was exceptionally clean. The bathroom and kitchen counters were a bit dated, but I believe the building will be undergoing more renovations this year. The beds were comfortable, not... More

I am a owner of a unit at this property, room 3**in the Coachman building. My family has owned this unit since the early 80s & my DH and I took over early 2000. So obviously, I have been coming here for years. This year we were happy with the new kitchens and tubs. (See pictures) they were much needed... More

Timeshare RCI ranked this worth 5 points a week vs my home location's 50. About right in terms of the room--a studio that if we DID put 4 in it as they said we could, would have meant wall to wall bed! Personnel were nice and room clean & quiet. Distance to P-town fine as we drove in when we... More

We only stayed 2 nites, but we found it cozy and quiet. I think it was so quiet because we were there off season. It was also farther from town than we thought, but the hotel has a free shuttle and the bus stop was right across the street as well as many taxis available. The room was clean and... More

Pros: located just on the beach, nice pool Cons: rooms are outdated, old furniture; our room smelled like wet dog ( probably the people who stayed before had a wet dog :) ); door got blocked and they were forced to break the back door to get in....; breakfast served but waiting time is huge (we left somewhere else in... Lots of things to do here plus only a few miles to Provincetown center. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, beach within 50 feet, tennis court, charcoal grills, bikes available plus lots of other extras. Enjoyed sitting on my balcony and relaxing in the sun. Breakfast was available in the Sunset room just in the main building. However, lots of places nearby... More

I'm a long time owner of two separate units (back to back timeshare weeks) so I do know a good deal of the history here. The current management has done nothing short of a miraculous turnaround to this resort in a relatively short time. They have brought it back from the brink and brought it back to profitability. No easy... More

We have been staying at the Sandcastle Resort in Provincetown for 13 years. We stay in the oceanfront building and our sliding doors open to the beach where we anchor our boat. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the place has undergone some tremendous renovations. We could't be happier, and will continue to stay at the Sandcastle for... More

Interesting place. We had a one bedroom unit that sleeps six. Not enough room for six people....we were quite cramped. Very small kitchen, had to unplug the coffee pot to use the toaster. Although we did manage to eat most nights there. Good use of the outdoor grills, but they are not gas, need to get charcoal. Bathroom was very... More

Our visit at the Sandcastle was great! Don't expect the Hyatt or Hilton, this is Cape Cod. We stayed in a Studio in the Royal Coachman with a view out on the pool and the bay. Room 219 to be precise. Our room had a Murphy bed and fold out couch hide-a-bed. There isn't much room with the Murphy bed... More
