I've stayed at several Provincetown bed and breakfasts, but this place tops the list. It's a quick walk to the center of town, yet far enough away to be a relaxing retreat. The rooms are clean, well decorated, and spacious, with plenty of variety depending on what you're looking for. (We stayed in "The Retreat" and absolutely loved having our... More

My recent stay at Inn at Cook Street was totally delightful. My room, which I named "the tree house" because tree branches spread shade over my private deck, was large, quiet, private and comfortable. The innkeepers, John and Patrick, were always available to make great suggestions for restaurants, art exhibits, shops and to give directions, help with taxis -- you... More

What a wonderful place to stay. Its a beautiful home, with pleasing decor, and a very relaxing atmosphere. What a great location too. Very close to all the action, walking distance to everything, but the home sits on a very quiet side street. Perfect at the end of the day. The staff is very friendly and Andrew, the breakfast chef,... More

Patrick and John were excellent hosts.. The Inn is absolutely beautiful and you can tell they take pride in ownership.. I loved the fact that it was a little bit off the down town area but with in walking distance ( less than ten minutes)... very quite and cozy.. a great visit... Elegant, cozy, great location...John and Patrick are your hosts. They know the area well and can give you great recommendations for dinner and things to do. The inn has a beautiful private garden, gorgeous rooms and a private beach just a walk down from the inn. Close to downtown Provincetown but not too close. A great romantic get away.

Patrick and John are the hosts of this lovely Inn located in Provincetown. They are friendly and personable and quite knowledgeable about the area. I would recommend staying here hands down. The Inn has a lovely decor with really warm and tasteful touches throughout. Wonderful chandeliers in the dining room and front foyer. The breakfasts by Andrew were excellent. Our... More

The Cook St. Inn is beautiful and well maintained. The hosts, Patrick and John Jay, are charming - the were very helpful in making recommendations about what to do, to see and restaurants - in fact they even made our dinner reservations for us. The location is perfect and a short walk to almost anything you want to do. We... More

Our preseason one-night stay at this charming place could not have been more pleasant. Steps away from the galleries and beach, it is a quiet, spotless haven and a great introduction to the town. John Jay offered us a lovely suite, cooked up a yummy breakfast, and filled us in on all sorts of good information - where to eat,... More

We had a lovely time in The Inn at Cook Street. The owners were very welcoming and informative about what to do, where to eat, what to see, etc etc. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and the house&garden as a whole are very authentic and stylish. Breakfast was delicious, made by a very skilled cook, served in a beautiful breakfast/sitting/"get... More

The Inn at Cook Street is a very relaxing, charming and perfectly located bed and breakfast in Ptown. It is far enough from noisy crowds yet close enough to walk to everything. From the start, owners John Jay and Patrick will make you feel right at home. The room I stayed was way more than enough for a solo traveler,... More
