I stayed in the cabin named "Spindrift" at the very end of Captain Jack's Wharf in August 2013. What an amazing place. It's hard to believe, but one is actually staying in a cabin built on a wharf suspended over the water. The views are superb: water from every window, the town from the east-ward facing windows; Long Point and... More

I gave Captain Jack's Wharf 5 stars for a couple of reasons. It's a huge hunk of history. These cabins, individually owned, that look like Popeye and Olive Oyl live there are steeped in history. This place is it! It's what P-town is all about! Cozy, Chariming, Rustic - on a wharf, on the water....quiet and relaxing. Plus, they have wireless if needed. I was able to work there on Fridays, cutting out early on Thursday - LOVED it! Ingore the Roughin it comment from below - It's Provincetown .... Not NYC.

Staying there is a "unique" experience. You have to be willing to "rough it " a bit...full of charm and character, but may be a little light on the ammenities (like a fan on a really hot day)....great people stay there and come back year after year...being on the water (literally on a old warf) can be a real P-town...
