We stayed in one of the cabins this past fall and prior to arriving, we were in love with the idea of staying in one of these adorable cabins over the water. We arrived on the scheduled date at approximately 3 pm ( check in time) only to find the front desk/office closed. We called the office number several times... More

I've stayed at Captain Jack's three times over the last several years and it's one of the coolest and unique lodging experiences I have ever had. The units span the length of a wharf in the western end of Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod. Interior decor is varied depending on the unit you reserve. And while the overall... More

The ambience of Captain Jack's wharf is greatly inhanced by Greg and Chad who made our stay over the last five years a great experience. They make sure everything is perfect and their friendliness adds to a great time. On our last visit we forgot something and the call was on our answering machine before we got home. Highly recommended to... More

I stayed in the cabin named "Spindrift" at the very end of Captain Jack's Wharf in August 2013. What an amazing place. It's hard to believe, but one is actually staying in a cabin built on a wharf suspended over the water. The views are superb: water from every window, the town from the east-ward facing windows; Long Point and... More

I gave Captain Jack's Wharf 5 stars for a couple of reasons. It's a huge hunk of history. These cabins, individually owned, that look like Popeye and Olive Oyl live there are steeped in history. In 1916 Eugene O'Neill had his first play, Bound East For Cardiff, staged in one of the shacks on the wharf. Several years later, he... More

I came to Provincetown on my one week off a year to visit a good friend of mine that has a place here. The view is amazing and my friends place is very cute. The only problem I had with the place was the property manager, Greg Saint Complain and his partner Brad. They went out of their way to... More

This place is it! It's what P-town is all about! Cozy, Chariming, Rustic - on a wharf, on the water....quiet and relaxing. Plus, they have wireless if needed. I was able to work there on Fridays, cutting out early on Thursday - LOVED it! Ingore the Roughin it comment from below - It's Provincetown .... Not NYC.

Staying there is a "unique" experience. You have to be willing to "rough it " a bit...full of charm and character, but may be a little light on the ammenities (like a fan on a really hot day)....great people stay there and come back year after year...being on the water (literally on a old warf) can be a real P-town...
