My wife and I decided upon Provincetown to celebrate her birthday, yet chose an October date in which to "miss" the summer crowds; in short amazing! The Inn is located at the far end and far enough down Commercial Street to be "away" from the noise, yet close enough for a short walk to town. We stayed in the Cape... More

Cocktails on the deck absorbing the colorful beauty of sea and sky anticipating a delightfully romantic evening. The Red Inn is the perfect backdrop. We had a beautiful table for two with a spectacular view...perfection. The Red Inn is personification of Cape Cod charm. The menu provides a wonderful variety of cuisine. Have yet to be disappointed and that's why... More

I had many great dinners here over the years, and was looking forward to staying at the Inn as a guest. I was a little concerned after reading some of the comments by other reviewers, that the rooms were small and noisy, and the staff pretentious, rude and unfriendly, but after staying there I'd like to address these remarks. Yes, some... More

Our first impression was that it was a very tiny place - no hall/lounge, but massive bar/restaurant where outsiders ate/drink - nowhere outside downstairs to sit apart from few chairs facing sea - so unless we sunbathed on our own terrace, there was nowhere to relax Garden bit unkempt Room very basic, holes in skirting plugged with some strange looking... For anyone who is in search of a magical place in Provincetown, look no further! This quaint old inn gives the best in accommodations and food that is a double barrel shotgun. You can't lose on picking this one. The rooms are all different and have something special to offer individually. The setting is gorgeous especially when you look out... More

I have avoided B&Bs my entire life. Visions of shared bathrooms and uncomfortable table mates turned me off. Well, let me tell you, the Red Inn is not your mother's B&B! This gorgeous property boasts private bathrooms, balconies, impeccable service, the BEST restaurant on Cape Cod, and unparalleled service. It was so private, we never knew the inn was filled.... I went here with my family while visiting my uncle at his Ptown vacation home. We had a great experience. My uncle chose Red Inn for my dad's 80th birthday. Anna, our waitress, was one of the highlights of the evening. She was attentive throughout the night. My dad mistakenly spilled the last of the champagne on his lap and... More

If you want to have a nice meal and enjoy the beautiful sea views then the red inn is definitely worth a visit. The food is so tasty that you forget that it's a little bit pricier than other places but it is so worth it. Jen made us laugh and was really helpful and had a wealth of knowledge.... More

What a wonderful dinner! The martini was perfect, the wellfleet oysters were as fresh as any I can remember, the local cod was seasoned with oves and rested on Rosemary potatoes, the superTuscan by the glass was marvelous and the bread pudding for dessert was mixed with fruits and flavored whipped cream. What more could anyone ask except to be... More
