Had not stayed here before, however, I stayed here during the Hallowe'n weekend. A great place and reasonably priced. Had breakfast in the restaurant, it was soooo good, I didn't care if I ate the rest of the day! Plenty of activities on site. Staff was superb! Thanks for a great time!

The staff was very attentive. They answered all my questions. They were very friendly, always smiling. Their professionalism was top notch. The room was clean with all the necessities. A comfortable bed to boot. Lol. Thanks everyone! I had a blast

My wife and I stayed here for one night over Columbus day weekend. It is located on Bradford and provides nice and easy parking. We got a good rate for a night stay there. The front desk staff was very helpful and kind. The downfall which they do a good job letting you know before you book is there is... More

This is a reasonable no frills cleanly pleasant historic Inn. My only caution is they have a club in the basement that's noisy until 1 am. You just need to get in after 1. I've stayed here in the past and will again. The staff is friendly and the location great.

The location of Gifford House was excellent – Commerce street is just down the slight hill, the harbor is a short walk, as is the jetty. There is free and convenient parking. The breakfast leaves much to be desired.

Spacious, light and airy, well maintained feel to the property. Good basic continental breakfast provided of coffee, tea and juice, toast, muffins and cereals available to eat inside or dine out on the spacious terrace. Very central location, nightclub and bar within immediate vicinity, most places easily accessed on foot, including the harbour for numerous boat trips and whale watching.... More

Friends and I were recently lamenting how young people really cannot afford to stay in Provincetown any more. Gone are the hippies, gone are the young gays and lesbians, gone are the fishermen and most of the Portugese families. Very few legacies still exist, and I have to applaud the Gifford House for keeping their rates extremely low, their rooms... More

The Giff is a bit of a tired old Dame in need of a facelift. However, during busy times when all the "good places" are filled this old chestnut still charges in excess of two hundred a nite for grandma's bedroom and sketchy WiFi that's useless on the 3rd floor (no elevator). The queen bed was comfortable enough, but the... More

This is the restaurant inside the Gifford House Inn. We were waiting in line to get into another restaurant and this gent had a menu across the street and said "join us at Noreen's no waiting". So up the hill we went and were greeted very warmly at Noreen's. They have a special eggs Benedict with home made hollandaise sauce... More

I had a wonderful time at the gifford house. Great customer service and the restaurant has great food. The music can be loud on weekends but I stay up late anyway so it wasn't a problem for me. Free admission into the dance club with your stay. I would definitely return.
