We have stayed at the Beaconlight for the pass 10 years and highly recommend it. Keith and Mark offer a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. You couldn't ask for a better location -right off Commercial Street - close to the events in town, yet once at the inn you feel like it is miles away. The rooms are always very clean, well... more

We stay for four nights and loved the room. Clean, comfortable, with thoughtful accomadations such as organic shampoo and conditioner. We were able to keep some of our snacks in the fridge and loved lounging around in the bath robes they provide! We were greated with a warm welcome and tour of the guest house- which really makes you feel... more

Just got back from a terrific autumn weekend in Ptown - an experience made all the better thanks to my stay at the Beaconlight. We stayed in the Cape Ann suite which had a working fireplace (the owners event placed a log for us upon arrival), a canopied king size bed and a nice-sized bathroom. It was right off Commercial... more

Avoid this one like the plague. Breakfast is a nightmare. Owner paces around obsessively cleaning up every crumb as it falls while you sit there and try to eat. He wins the prize for nastiest owner in Ptown. The owner's kids live there and make noise all day and night. His kids are as arrogant as he is. Total waste... more

I stayed at Beaconlight Guesthouse for Labor Day weekend. After booking the room, I reviewed the reviews and was concerned about what I would find. In general, the experience was positive. The location was great - off the beaten path but nearby everything. The room were clean and carefully decorated, though a bit small. The staff was friendly enough without... more

I've been to Ptown a few times and stayed out the Beaconlight before under the previous owners. I decided to return to the Beaconlight on this trip and we were delighted. The "new" owners were phenomenal attentive as was the entire staff. They were always smiling, cleaning and doing upkeep on the guest house. The breakfasts were simple but delicious... more

I stayed at the Beaconlight several years ago with the former owners. It was a wonderful experience. The difference with the new owners is night and day. We were meeting friends for dinner in Provincetown and only stayed one night there. The experience was oppressive. The host was incredibly rude and not at ALL consumer friendly. One has one chance... more

I have travelled extensively to many countries, in different climates, cultures, and standards. I am not an overly fussy traveler, nor am I petty. But this experience was poor, and I feel compelled to prevent others from being disappointed. With so many options to choose from in Cape Cod, we decided to go with a pricier one, thinking that we... more

I found the Beaconlight Guesthouse on www.ptown.org which lists last minute (7 days) availability for many of Provincetown's Inn's. This was the first time we stayed at Beaconlight. The surroundings are absolutely charming. Our room was small, nicely decorated, clean and cozy. Beautifuly landscaped patios and decks on all 3 levels. Some spaces are clothing optional (jacuzzi & 3rd floor... more
