Coastal Acres is a great simple campground. However, the beauty of this place is it's location and price. Provincetown is a wonderful place to vacation, but lodging prices and food cost can be very high especially in season. Camping here is the most affordable place in town to stay. The bathrooms are clean but basic (showers are coin operated) All... More

Cheap, efficient campground not far from downtown. It is not glamorous but it accommodates rvs very well. The shower complex is clean and centrally located. Easy to find. Close to the beach, restaurants, bars and stores. It is not fancy but Provincetown makes up for it in so many ways.

I need to start out by saying that we enjoyed our vacation in Provincetown. It’s unfortunate to say that this was despite the Coastal Acres campground. On many levels it’s a nice place, but there were several things that made the week so difficult that I will not make a return visit. First and foremost were the showers. The bathrooms... More

I called the office and no one is ever there. Finally I spoke to someone who was very rude! Said they had no open sites and hung up. My friends called back and same person told her they had many openings! She booked a site......so we all went. We could not believe what we saw when we arrived there. What... More

We are from Nashville, TN. and had the wonderful opportunity to visit Provincetown for the first time this past week, and getting married while there. While not being a long way off from retirement, decided to visit some of the local campgrounds in an attempt to see what would be available to us at a later time should we decide... More

This place has one major thing going for it, it's within walking distance from the heart of Provincetown. Don't let the name fool you. It's not on the coast, but relatively nearby. The rate we paid was $33, marked down a whole $2 for a off-season rate. No wonder they don't actually advertise their off-season rate on their website. They... More
