The campsites are clean and tidy- nice and big with privacy vegetation around many tent sites. Check in is easy. Showers clean. Reservations are "old school" asking for a deposit to be sent rather than reservation by credit card. A fun mix of US and international campers. Love the scenic location on Shank Painter Pond and so close to town.

Please don't come here if you want to have a good time in PTown...Should be a great location however they have not spent the money to make it such. They rely on the fact that there is not an alternative in the area and are happy to take your money!.. If u want the absolute basic at a high price... More

My cousin booked this for our annual Ptown Carnival mini-stay-cation. We used to go camping as kids (didn't care for it much as a kid) & I took my son when he was younger (& I was married, my husband did all the work). So, I had to remind myself everything I had forgotten about camping...the bugs, the awful smell... More

Over the years, I have used several camp sites and have always been satisfied with the facilities. I have never had any problems with the office staff and find the employees to be diligent concerning their duties and their customer service. The campground is well maintained and the rest rooms are clean. Pay showers are common among campgrounds and you... More

Coastal Acres is a great simple campground. However, the beauty of this place is it's location and price. Provincetown is a wonderful place to vacation, but lodging prices and food cost can be very high especially in season. Camping here is the most affordable place in town to stay. The bathrooms are clean but basic (showers are coin operated) All... More

Cheap, efficient campground not far from downtown. It is not glamorous but it accommodates rvs very well. The shower complex is clean and centrally located. Easy to find. Close to the beach, restaurants, bars and stores. It is not fancy but Provincetown makes up for it in so many ways.

I need to start out by saying that we enjoyed our vacation in Provincetown. It’s unfortunate to say that this was despite the Coastal Acres campground. On many levels it’s a nice place, but there were several things that made the week so difficult that I will not make a return visit. First and foremost were the showers. The bathrooms... More

I called the office and no one is ever there. Finally I spoke to someone who was very rude! Said they had no open sites and hung up. My friends called back and same person told her they had many openings! She booked a site......so we all went. We could not believe what we saw when we arrived there. What... More
