Came up without reservations and The Chamber of Commerce was able to get me a room at this beautiful inn. My room was simply gorgeous. Wonderfully appointed with a super staff and very comfortable bed.

We had a very poor experience at this B&B. I suspect it was a combination of choosing the wrong room and having no innkeeper there for our 1 night stay. The Lady Diana Spencer room on the ground floor is very small for two people and we had difficulty finding a space for our two suitcases. The entry door is... More

We originally chose this inn, as there were very few options left, but immediately were amazed with how inviting and comforting Snug Cottage was. We were greeted by Tim (great host) upon arriving with fresh cider and a great history lesson on the inn and area. We stayed in the Chartwell room, it was clean, cozy and a great size... More

My fiancée and I visited Ptown a few days after Columbus Day. The new owner of Snug Cottage was pleasant and our room cozy. The tub/ shower had drops of paint on the floor of the tub and the low flow shower head did not give you much water. The sink on the other hand gushed water but had no... More

Easy to find. Close to the centre of the town. Lovely house. Friendly reception from Tim the innkeeper. We both loved our little stopover here and would certainly tell our friends to try it if they were in the area. Chris and Kate. Liverpool, England.

As its name suggests, Snug Cottage is indeed a snug place to stay in a charming cottage! The friendly innkeeper, Tim, welcomed us and provided a wealth of information on the cottage and surrounding area. It is well situated, just a short walk from Commercial Street where the majority of the restaurants and shops are located. It has its own... More

I initially discounted the recent review entitled, "Seems like new owners bought for their own fun..." but there may be some truth to that statement. This was our fifth annual visit to the Snug and perhaps that skews our perception. For us, the Snug was like visiting an old friend, so we were bound to be resistant to change. That... More

Snug Cottage is in a nice location, walking distance to all the popular spots. A very rustic appearance, love the Hilary Clinton life size pic! Tim the Owner is very nice. Informative about his property. Our room was spacious cozy. nice air conditioning option or working windows for fresh air. The mattress was really hard, just not my preference, others... More

OK. I just want to let you know up front that this is the first unglowing review I've left. I tend to err on the side of positivity and understanding. Feel free to check out my other reviews on Airbnb. That being said, this will not be one of those reviews. I'll try to be as accurate as possible. To... More

Why do you choose a B&B? Location? Innkeeper? Unique building? Value? This place is the perfect quadfecta of zeros. I've stayed in lots of places; this was a complete failure on every count. Can you believe on a 3 day visit never even met the innkeeper. When you enter there is a sign directing you to pull your envelope from... More
