Our host Kathleen was gracious and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and well decorated. The location is almost in the center of town so there is no need to move you car while visiting. Also, the breakfast is delicious and extensive. Michael and Gary more

The Inn was gorgeous but the accomodations were horrible. Our room was about 10 ft. by 10 ft. There was no room for our suitcases there was barely room to walk. The pictures on the website are deceiving. But what was most appauling was the fact that Alicia (one of the owners) screamed at my boyfriend in the parking lot... more

We were surprised to find in our breakfast patio area that this guest had reached inside a glass paneled lighting fixture to tie his heavy wetsuit. He also draped his wet clothes and gear on our patio furniture so guests could not enjoy the common area. We did take issue with this for two reasons: (1) the wetsuit could have...

Spent 8 days in Provincetown at the Fairbanks Inn - it was truly the best vacation we have ever had! Stayed in the Penthouse - had all the comforts of home; nice atmosphere; and wonderful inn keepers who made sure our stay was all we wanted it to be. Great location, one block off commerical street close to the center... more

My partner and I have been going to the Fairbanks Inn at least once a year since 2005. We love to stay there, not just because the property is beautiful, impeccably clean, well kept up, and centrally located, but especially because Alicia and Kathy are excellent hostesses. They are very helpful in giving suggestions for local restaurants, bars, attractions, and... more

We spent 7 wondrerful days in this immaculate historic Inn. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Kathleen and Alicia were great hosts, giving us their insight into all things to see and do there. This Inn is in a perfect location. It is 1 block to all the action, yet tucked away in a private and quiet setting. The... more

This was our 1st visit to The Fairbanks and it was absolutely fabulous. The inn was a home from home and very comfortable. The room was decorated in lovely furnishing with a flat screen HD TV and DVD player. The continental breakfast each morning was a real treat, and Alicia’s wonderful homemade muffins and coffee cake went down a treat... more

There is simply no other place we would stay in Provincetown. Our room with a king-sized bed was bright and so very comfortable. The furnishings and bed linens are first-rate and the room was very clean. Kathy and Alicia are amazing, joining the guests for lively conversations in the garden or the breakfast room. Very accessible and willing to help... more

What a spectacular weekend! Upon arrival Kathleen and Alicia oriented us to thier magnificent Inn with it's outdoor and indoor patios, common room, garden etc. We were then taken to our IMMACULATE room. Breakfast was always fresh and plenty. We often saw Alicia making the granola by hand or mixing a fresh batch of muffins. They provided an abundance of... more

The Fairbanks Inn is charming, comfortable, relaxing. The rooms are exactly what you would want/expect from an historic B&B. Beautiful and romantic, comfortable with the extra ammenities of flatscreen HD t.v., dvd player, a/c, private bathroom, and fireplace for off-season visitors. All I had to do is cross the street and be in the heart of Provincetown. However, it's far... more
