The place has been renovated and it is spotless with a very friendly and welcoming staff. Unfortunately, as with many Provincetown locations, the accommodations are very tight. For the second person to get in the room the first person had to move to the other side of the bed. There is no room for a closet, just hooks on the... More

I have been visiting Provincetown for many years and this is my most favorite place to stay. The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous, right in the center of town. The rooms are beautiful, clean and modern. They provide a lovely breakfast, with fresh baked muffins and croissants. And I love the soap/shampoo products they have... More

The website images and the reality are radically different. The pictures of the rooms make them appear spacious which is not true; for example, there are 5 hooks on the wall in lieu of even a tiny closet. More significant than that is the lack of owner presence (and interest in guest comfort). As we have discovered while speaking with... More

Staff needs training on how to greet and interact with guest. Rooms were clean. Continental breakfast was served on the back porch which didn't feel inviting, or well thought out. We were told coffee is "usually" available around 8:30 am... come on , really? Would it surprise management to learn many of their guests are up and out well before... More

We happened upon the lotus while sat in the Mayflower cafe next door (have reviewed also) We'd driven nearly five hours from the Hamptons and hadn't booked anywhere so the fact A) the room was big, clean and well equipped B) the hostess knocked 10% off the rate card C) they took us in with our three little children despite... Our room was clean and perfect, small but totally fine and so reasonably priced. The guy who was running the place -- I forget his name! so will call him Bob here -- was incredibly helpful, funny and sweet. We had lovely breakfasts on the pretty porch with other guests, learned all about the Tea Dance, dock, and tips about... More

Beautiful, renovated room (room 22); comfortable king size bed, refrigerator/bar, and very nice bathroom (no closets, only dressers). Great art & photographs on walls. Guest house is centrally located so is great for walking. Common area and balcony in back was nice. Breakfast was a dud - we were told to wait for coffee sometime after 8:30 am (we are... More

We just discovered this hotel. Best location. It was renovated a few years ago. The room was big and had a fireplace and a beautiful bathroom. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. Good breakfast and great coffee. Parking is right nearby. This place can't be beat.
