I booked a last minute room the night before my arrival and when I woke up I realized that parking would be an issue. Russ, the owner was more than accommodating and turned my problem into his and even provided a solution! Unbelievable service! Upon arrival we were given a tour of the property which included an outdoor shower as... More

The location was unbelievable, right off commercial street, but still hidden away enough to be quiet and peaceful. It was perfect! The staff was unbelievably nice, and the cleanliness was amazing. We got to get free bikes for our stay there, which was incredible! The thing that I thought would be a negative was the smaller rooms and shared bathrooms,... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your nice review. We really enjoyed hosting your stay. To clarify we also have rooms with private bathrooms. And most of our rooms that don’t have their own bathroom do have a sink in the room. Our rooms vary a fair amount. We even have rooms at the Inn with 2 beds... More

Moffett house is one of a vanishing breed of Provincetown guest houses that offer basic accommodations in a funky old house for a reasonable price. Amazingly for the center of town, the house is quiet and serene, surrounded on all sides by other buildings that block the noise of Commercial Street. The pluses of this place begin with the staff.... More

We have been coming here for years. It's the best value to stay in Provincetown. Rooms are reasonably priced, kept neat & clean, and typical size for Ptown. You get free use of a bike your whole stay. There's a light breakfast weekends in the summer. Another plus is somehow the place is quiet, inside and out, even with all... More

This is clean, quiet, low key, and perfectly located in the center. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is really nice. A little breakfast in the morning, an outdoor shower, access to the kitchen -- you couldn't ask for more. I don't even want to share the information because maybe it will be all booked up by the next... More

I recently decided that I would take a short vacation to PTown as I had not been there recently. I first contacted the hotel I had stayed at in the past...not willing to pay high single rate fee for just a place to crash at night...free Tea Dance was not enough! I then started looking elsewhere and came across The... More

I have stayed at the Moffett House several times and plan to do so on my next visit to Ptown as well. Here's what you need to know: The rooms are clean and comfortable. Their sizes vary, but all that I've stayed in have served me well. I don't need a huge room when I'm on vacation, as I just... More

Walking along Commercial St, you MAY NOT know how to find the Moffett House. It's a bit of a walk thru a narrow alley ,but SURPRISE!!!!! Quiet space set a few steps away from bustling Commercial St, but close enough to EVERYTHING--MacMillan Wharf, public transit, all the shops, bars, you name it (and next to the great Mayflower Rest, and... My wife and I stayed here for one night because we decided to come into town the night before our normal stay. I found a great rate on priceline, and since we weren't getting into town until late all we needed was a bed to sleep in nothing fancy. And that's what the Moffett house has to offer. The staff... Had a nice time staying at Moffett House last year. The rooms were cute. The care takers kept the place clean regularly. They have a kitchen incase you wanted to cook. They have Bikes that comes with renting the space. A little backyard for BBQ outside when the weather is nice. Had a nice time.
