I cannot say enough about our stay at John Carver Inn. The service is second to none and our room was cozy and spacious. The bed was the most comfortable one of our stay in New England! After a long, exhausting day of travel this hotel was truly a welcomed respite. We hope to make the John Carver Inn a... More

...to find this jewel just inside downtown of Plymouth! High quality for honest price and the added-value of a nice swimming pool with an incredible hot-Jacuzzi inside. I found everything perfect, even the restaurant with special meals: me and my wife tried a fish one and was so delicious and abundant! Personel professional and not too much formality. Very close... We have enjoyed the swimming pool and the room with 2 large beds. The hotel would need some refurbishing. The staff were very friendly. Very central near the sea in a nice little town. Lots of parking in front of the hotel

We stayed at this hotel for our trip to Edaville Railroad's Festival of Lights. The hotel is conveniently located walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and attractions. The rooms were on the small side but very clean and it would have been nice to have a small fridge on hand for snacks. The pool area was great for the kids.

I booked this hotel for the pool, which did not disappoint, it was the highlight of our trip for the kids(5&10). That being said, when it came time to sleep, we could hear every conversation and door opening and closing of the adjacent room. Also the restaurant at the hotel was godawful.. Do not eat there!! Overall the service was... More

We stayed one night at the John Carver, the night before Thanksgiving. I expected the hotel to be a bit tired and yes, that's true. Not a problem. I was fine with the room and it seemed clean enough. Yes, I can see how the beds do slope towards center a little, but I was able to sleep fine. The... More

If you're going to Plymouth Rock, Plymouth plantation or to see the Mayflower II, and you have kids, this is the place to stay. Very comfortable. Rooms were big. Beds confirtable. Service really nice, place clean... Restaurant very kid friendly. But, the pool... Perfect for kids... Big pirate ship with a water slide... So fun. The ONLY tip (!) when... More

i brought my 2 granddaughters (ages 4 and 11) for a quick girls weekend away, and it was perfect. The kids had a great time in the pool and i enjoyed the hot tub. Not real luxury but the upgraded room with 2 queen beds was fine, although the "park view" was not really a view of the park across... More

Decided to bring 4 grandchildren on a 2 night time out (ages 12,9,8,6). Checked in Sunday and never left property until Tuesday. We had a fabulous time, mostly spent in pool and game room area. I cannot say enough great things about the personnel, especially lifeguards Nathaniel and Brandon. All were very pleasant, accomodating and all round nice, especially with... More
