My partner and I landed in Plymouth with no accomodation booked, we went to the Visitors information and they gave an up to date price list. The John Carver Inn was very nice, the staff were really friendly and the room was beautiful. We were given vouchers towards the cost off dinner or breakfast so we used against dinner, the... more

We went away for a night, just to get away. The John Carver is about 20 miles from home but it still has a vacation feel for me. The staff is great. The rates are reasonable. There is a restaurant/bar onsite and a great indoor pool. The rooms, though dated, are relatively large and comfy. There is a ton of... more

This hotel has an impressive front and reception area where tea & coffee is available in the morning. The Hearth & Kettle has plenty of choice for all the family and the meals were hearty! It was great to have a pool but the changing rooms were a surprise: A wall of rusted, non-lockable lockers, 2 toilet cubicles and a... more

We had a weekend package stay which included a Haunted Ghost Latern Tour and Corn Maize tickets. A room with 2 queen beds with very comfortable. Pool was great for the kids, boys ages 13 and 8. Absolutely loved the pool. Hearth N Kettle restaurant next door was an added bonus. Great location in historic Plymouth with wonderful diners and... more

We stayed here for two nights whilst doing a driving tour of New England. We were travelling as a family with our two teenage daughters (12 and 14). We booked 2 interconnecting rooms and were very pleased by how spacious they were. The girls loved the indoor pool and it's waterslide and my husband and I loved sitting in the... more

You will love this place. The pool is great. It has a water slide coming out of a Mayflower replica, and in the center of the huge pool is a hot tub in the middle of a replica of Plymouth Rock. And though it might sound so, it's totally not cheesy at all. This place is within a few steps... more

My husband and I stayed at the John Caver Inn for a last minute getaway and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is located right in downtown Plymouth, close to lots of shops and walking areas. Our room was a fireplace suite and it overlooked the pool area (which was indoors). The Inn is attached to a Hearth &... more

My husband and I travelled here for a wedding and stayed one night in the beautiful queen fireplace suite. The room was clean and comfortable (especially with a memory foam mattress!). The jacuzzi was clean and spacious. The fireplace was convenient and easy to light (just flip a switch!). They even had a Keurig single cup coffee maker in the... more

Excellant place to stay with children of any age as the pool was awesome for our 15 year olds and the location was within walking distance to most sites. Close driving proximity to the Plimoth Plantation, beach, lake and waterfront. AND, must not forget, Dunkin Donuts right next door. We would definitely stay again. Great rates and great food. Friendly,... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in July 2009 with wife and toddler. Wonderful and helpful staff - they are great! The hotel itself is dated quite a bit. It's not "dirty", but it's not new and crisp either. You can just tell that it's been around awhile and it's just kinda tired looking. The fitness center is quite minimal. No... more
