Rooms were clean enough on arrival but not cleaned during stay. Front desk staff was actually kind of rude on checkout, didn't run the correct credit cards, gave attitude when receipts were requested. Coffee was not potable, and I have pretty low standards. Probably nicer in summer.

Here are the positives first. This hotel has a great location directly on the beach. The front desk was friendly. The rooms were clean and continued to be cleaned well over the course of the week I stayed. Price was one of the lowest in Plymouth. On the downside, the rooms are very dated. I was told my room was... More

The Good: cheap price, comfortable rooms with QS beds, good running hot water, free wi fi, indoor heated pool and spa. Restaurant was closed for the season but looked good and the meal prices were cheap as. :) Easy to find with good signage and on site parking at your door is great. Caters well to families, pretty big rooms... More

We paid extra for an ocean view. The balconies are shared with all your neighbors. This could be good if you have friendly neighbors. In our case our neighbors were not friendly and it was awkward to sit out there and listen to them converse while merely feet away. With no separation, we also were not comfortable leaving the sliding... More

My college son and I were curious to visit Plymouth and the historic sites (which we did on Thanksgiving weekend. Found Pilgrim Sands on the internet and really liked the idea of a reasonable price for an ocean front room in the almost off season. It was wonderful. Room was clean, comfortable. and can not beat the view. Refrigerator great!... More

I postponed writing this review, hoping management might contact me , as we filled out and left the hotel's survey showed showing our dissatisfaction. We stayed here before a couple of years back and had a great experience, however our visit on a Saturday night in October was beyond bad. The room was incredibly noisy and it went on until... More

Nice little hotel sitting right on the Atlantic. When you book make sure to get the ocean side room, as that offers a serene view of the Atlantic. At night, when the tide rolls in it feels as though you are in the hull of a ship at sea (without the rocking or waves). The hotel is old but well... More

We decided to visit Plimouth Plantation in off season and needed a place to stay. Pilgrim Sands adequately filled the need. It was clean and quiet. Though dated it was well kept up and everything worked. Price was going rate, though we had to ask in several ways to get the best deal. Breakfast was included. It was meager but... More

Pros: Great view! Book a room on the ocean side. Staff was very friendly. Room clean except for bathroom. Cons: Rooms need updating. The bathroom and entryway floor looked dirty, but it could be old tile that needs to be replaced. I did not feel comfortable walking barefoot on the floor. There was dirt build-up in the corners of the... More

Stayed here for one night only but it was such a great hotel. The lady on reception was very helpful with local restaurant recommendations. It's right on the ocean so great views. There is a beach but only at low tide. It has a lovely terrace to sit on and relax. The town is a five minute drive & plimoth... More
