We had a lovely time at the Pilgrim Sands. We were looking for a room close to the beach and found ourselves in a room that was overlooking the water and so close that we felt like we were on a cruise. Sleeping with the gentle surf splashing in the background was delightful. The accomodations were roomy and comfortable. There... more

I love these kinds of motels in general so I have no complaints about this place. We didn't run into the "grumpy manager" that others have complained about. The people we met were very nice and helpful. Loved the indoor pool which we had to ourselves. Continental breakfast was a real treat. Location is great although getting to the beach... more

Two weeks ago, my husband and I had planned a weekend getaway to Plymouth. The rate was comparable to other hotels in the area and I fell in love with the sound of crashing waves on the Pilgrim Sands website. At first there was a problem having the same room for both nights (Scott called to confirm if we still... more

My stay at the Pilgrim Sands Motel was part of a meandering week through New England. My trip involved traveling the coastline from southern Connecticut, through Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. The goal was to stay at family run/non-chain establishments off the beaten path, and preferably on the water . When I came upon the Pilgrim Sands with a vacancy sign... more

We have been going to Pilgrim Sands for over 25 years.-with my children, my grandchildren and now with my great grandchildren. The location is so easy to get to - unlike the Cape - the facilities are so well kept - the staff is professional & friendly - WE love the deck overlooking the ocean, the outdoor pool for the... more

we stayed at the Pilgrim Sands for the first time this past weekend (August) Price was $180 per room plus taxes. On the website it says beachfront, which I suppose it is, but only when the tide is out... when high tide is in there is no beach to speak of. There were a lot of rocks and sea weed... more

This is a great little motel. Not alot of frills here, but it is on the ocean with a great outdoor pool (also an indoor pool and jacuzzi, but we didn't use them). Although the private beach disappears during high tide, it is a nice place to swim or sit in a beach chair. The hotel is a short walk... more

We blew into Plymouth along with Hurricane Kyle at the end of September '08. There was so much rain and it was dark and hard to find the property even though we had GPS! But miracously, The Pilgrim Sands appeared out of nowhere and we were so relieved. The manager had lots of character and a huge personality, which we... more
