If you are wishing to get out of your busy life style this is a fantastic way to kick back and relax. Aside from the beautiful scenery there is a wonderful array of activities, its in a wonderful area. A nice town at that, and has plenty of restaurants and bars all of great quality. A wonderful experience for my... More

I go to pinewood every summer with my family, we have an amazing time every year and I would recommend going here to anyone who wants to have a good time. It is generally clean but it is a campground not a hotel. The staff and friendly and helpful and always willing to give you the time of day. There... More

We have been camping at PW for several years. It is so woodsy that its like being in New Hampshire. Its very pretty. Most of the sites are nice. It is very clean. The other campers are pretty good. There is no riff-raff allowed. Now the negatives: 1) The pond is awful. Seriously the weeds are horrendous. You get tangled... More

This is a very nice campground. The spots are large and private, lots of tall trees, but not overgrown forest. It was perfect actually. There are plenty of clean bath houses and the laundry facilities were sufficient. The seasonal campers didn't look shady, and all of the staff were friendly. The clubhouse is large with a pool table, video games... More

I'm reading some of the negatives....and I cant believe it! We've been coming here for 3 years and my kids have made many friends and we all look forward to a Pinewood Trip! We came on a recommendation and we truly love it here. Every person we have encountered - staff, and other campers have always been friendly. I hope... More

This place is the worst camp ground i have ever been to. From being very claustrophic with NO privacy to having to pay for a shower, this place is lucky i had to rate them a 1 because if it was up to me, they would get negative points. They give curfews to everyone. You must be quiet after 10... More

Admittedly, I haven't done a lot of camping. Most of my experiences have been with KOA campgrounds which I have found to be excellent. Excellent is not what I would call this place. At best, it's average. This is not where you want to go if you are looking for a rustic camping experience. To begin with, the campsites and... More
