I found the Blue Anchor by chance. I was finishing up a conference in Providence RI and decided to head to Massachussettes for the weekend before returning home. Everyone with reasonable prices were booked and I happened upon Blue Anchor. The owners are wonderful, couldn't ask for sweeter, more accomadating people. Room was clean and had the essentials (i.e. tv,... More

I recently stayed at this motel for 1 night with some friends and we all found dirty towels and very used sheets in our rooms with unknow spots... I hope it was just a chance but I suggest more attention on cleaness... However, tha bathroom was clean. my room presents microwave, a noisy fridge and air condition. However, this motel... More

This cute but small hotel is well located for walks into Plymouth Center. Plenty of on-street parking. Bring your own shampoo and hair dryer! We stayed in rooms 1 and 2, at the back of the property. Room 1 has a double (not queen) bed, while 2 has a double bed and a twin bed. Room 2 feels cramped, but... More

We arrived to find a very clean, but cozy and a little outdated motel. The owners were exceptionally nice and friendly telling us where to grab the best bite to eat in town. There was only one plug that was grounded (3 pronged) in the bathroom so we had to charge phones, and ipads in the bathroom on the sink.... More

We stayed in the carriage room-attached to the garage. It was clean and amazingly quiet. We did park on the road, not a big deal and there were patrol cars parked further down so why wouldn't they be safe. The room had a good size bathroom with shower. The room had a twin and queen, the queen had a very comfy... More

The Blue Anchor was perfect for our family of six, with four young kids. We could walk from the motel to breakfast at Water Street Cafe, Plymouth rock and Mayflower II, Brewster Gardens, shops along Sandwich St, and a really nice playground right around the corner adjacent to Nathaniel Morton school. We stayed in #4, in the cottages out back.... More

The Blue Anchor is a quaint little house in Plymouth, in a residential neighborhood but easy walking distance to the main street shops and restaurants. We had room 7, a large room with refrigerator, sitting area, and a small private bath. Parking on the street was a breeze. I'd recommend the house rooms, as the 4 motel-type rooms in the... More

Just spent another excellent stay at the Blue Anchor, Plymouth. The Lodges at the rear provide homely and value for money. The owners make you very welcome and look after all your needs. The accommodation is well situated for visiting all the attractions of the area, even by foot. Would recommend and will visit again

Make sure you ask before registering if there is parking. If you rent the motel in the back (4 units), you can park there. But if you rent a room in the house, you park on the street. When we went there was something going on at the school and at the building next door and we went around the... More

We found the Blue Anchor to be clean, conveniently located, and affordable. It's a very small motel -- more like an inn without amenities. They offer 3 rooms on the second floor of an older house (2 with a shared bathroom) and 4 ground level units in the back. The decor is dated and a little quirky -- sort of... More
