A superb place to unwind. The cottage has every amenity (& the beds are to die for). Fresh bread, homemade relishes & jams - oh & the antipasto platter was delicious. Very cool inside despite hot weather. Seeing the Milky Way at night so clearly & enjoying the evening meals & local music talent at the pub within walking distance-BONUS!

Clean, comfortable, lovely gardens, amazing jam! If visiting cute Guildford in Victoria, Tara B&B is a good option. It is cottage style accommodation - brick adjoining cottages, clean and modern inside. The bathroom is spacious and tidy, the provided breakfast is plentiful. Great bonus - healthy snacks with dips and vegies are also available in the fridge when you arrive... More

We spent a Saturday night at Tara while visiting the area. Nicely located a short drive from Daylesford and Castlemaine, the cottage has a woodstove, lots of firewood, an excellent cook your own breakfast, a delicious plate of snacks and heaps of hot water for an excellent shower. Pretty much all you need. All up, an excellent stay.

Tara@Guildford was amazing. Set in a beautiful garden, the cottage is set aside from the main house which offers you more peace and quiet than you could ever imagine. The bead was comfy, the fresh bread was amazing and the welcome platter was a perfect way to enjoy the garden. Only 15 mins to Daylesford as well. Toni was a... More

Delicious home baked bread on arrival (even at 10pm!) with yummy platter of dips and cheeses. Vey generous breakast provisions supplied from lovely museli, fruit compote, yoghurt, sauges, bacon eggs, tomatoes and juice. Quality linen on the bed... More

Just spent 2 nights at Tara with 7 others. On arrival Toni had prepared platters of dips, veggies and assorted savouries for us to start our weekend off. It was cold but the Ned Kelly fires warmed the cottages up. Beds were extremely comfortable and breakfast each morning was delicious! Fresh home cooked bread, free range eggs, home made compotes... Tara B&B provided my wife and our dog Buddy with a great long weekend break. We stayed in one of the two self-contained brick cottages in the spacious grounds. The accommodation was great - super-comfortable bed, ample breakfast provisions (the fridge was packed with food), beautiful freshly baked bread, warm wood heater (make sure you keep this going through the...
