Worst mistake not checking before booking but was a last minute thing, smelly room with damp and leaky taps, was camp beds with disgusting bedding, there is not a single good thing to say about this place! I am sure a prison cell would be better than this place! I never spent the night as I demanded a refund which... More

Cold empty and smells bad. We really regretted booking this hotel. We put up with the situation and stayed the night as there was a basic level of cleanliness and we would not have found anywhere else so late at night.

An absolute nightmare of a place, sub let to a bunch of amateurs that have clearly never styed in a hotel themselves. The room was disgusting, the matress was not a real one and was old and lumpy. There was a smell of damp and a stale smell of smoke throughout. Booked on 'Late Rooms', it was advertised as being... More

I spent one night my my family in this hotel which was more than enough for us. The room was full of dust, with smelly bed linen and dirty carpet. The bathroom was shabby with a constant leaky tap which wasn't great (my husband didn't sleep a wink). The paint was peeling off and the ceiling was on the brink... More

Had booked 3 nights and stayed two. Taken pictures of broken toilet, broken chest of drawers, punch holes in the wall, no mirror in the bathroom, no reading light this list is not exhaustive either. Breakfast is a poor collection of low value cereal / bread items and not worth bothering about. Staff were genuinely embarrassed to be associated with... More

Have to agree with these last few reviews from July/August 2012, and a shame to hear that it used to be quite good. A friend and I paid £20 each for a single room each, so at that price we weren't expecting much. My room was OK but quite dirty. My friend's room had no hot water at the sink... More

You get what you pay for. The hotel smells, we had 3 rooms, all had dodgy electrical sockets, all had damaged wadrobes, front doors missing, punch holes on side. We asked to be moved from 1 room which they did, we explained the bed was broken. When we went out they rented the same room to someone else - terrible.... More
