Stayed one night for our children's swim meet in Beverly. I don't remember ever sleeping so well in a hotel. Very clean, nicely decorated-felt like we were in a boutique hotel! Very professional front desk staff. Very nice complimentary continental breakfast-as breakfast restaurant is closed for renovations. Great Italian restaurant right next door. Will definately stay here again. more

The rooms were clean and spacious, with very friendly staff. The proximity to Boston and Salem is great, and much cheaper staying right in the city. Continental breakfast too, alright, nothing fancy. We would definitely stay there again. more

I would second the last review really. We stayed here for 2 nights and were very comfortable. We had 2 spacious adjoining rooms that were newly refurbished and very fresh - all very clean and good quality. Room service from the Italian restaurant next door was first class and made a refreshing change from standard hotel food. If I were... more

We stayed for three weeks. The staff was so friendly and accomdating. They upgraded us to a suite upon arrival at no extra charge. The suite was spacious. They are some small signs of it's age. The bedroom was huge with a large closet, armoir with TV. The living area has a TV, sofa, chair, coffee and end talbles. There's... more

I chose this location to be near Boston without paying a fortune and in that respect it was acceptable. I have previously stayed outside Boston and paid less on Priceline at a better property but I was unable to go that route on this trip. The hotel had been recently refreshed and everything was in working order. We arrived late... more

This is the second year we have stayed here for softball tournaments. The only hotel in the area where the sleeping area is a seperate room from the living area. Rooms are clean and good size, food at the restuarant is good, washer & dryer available. Restauants in the area that deliver if you want a different type of food. more

We booked this hotel because our friends wedding was there, but after the service and the staff, we may come every year. From our first call to reservations, we were made to feel like freinds and not just a guest. We were not put though to a central reservations line, but to a managers line. But We had to leave a... more

This is my worst Holiday Inn experience ever (& I'm usually a fan of Holiday Inns for non luxury travel). The staff were either clueless or just plain rude, some were both. My advice is don't go there - find another place there are plenty nearby. The non smoking rooms reek of smoke, the stench kept me up all night.... more

I stay in several Holiday Inns over the course of a year for a combined 40+ nights. I like the Holiday Inn chain but this location is a stinker for one primary reason - HORRIBLE SERVICE. As Platinum Elite member I get treated like a stray dog coming in from the street. No upgrades - ever. A confrontational attitude whenever... more

I found this hotel on a pet friendly web sites. I called the hotel directly to confirm that they indeed take dogs and check the details (fees etc). I was told there was a $25 per stay non-refundable fee and nothing more.) With that I went on-line and booked the room. I made a note in the remarks that I... more
