The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room I stayed in was spacious but it is in need of updates and there were dead ants in one of the old light fixtures...except for that it was clean. The oldness and wear of the room makes it not appear as clean as it actually is...I'd still go back though...

Very friendly staff. Quiet and clean rooms. Very nice heated pool in back. Continental breakfast provided and nice touch. Close to town, restaurants and beaches. Brandon was particularly helpful and made our stay great,

Stayed last Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Brandon (the owner) went out of his way to get us a room with the deck. Rooms are very clean and location is great. Close to beaches and a number of restaurants are within walking distance. Grounds and pool are very well kept. Staff (Dave and Tim) are very friendly and helpful. Our first... More

Way overpriced, rooms on a par with Motel 6. Tiny towels, and the"continental" breakfast is coffee and a muffin. Problem with that is it in office, but office no open until 8:30. Do yourself a favor, stay anywhere else. Oh yeah, if you liked living in the 70's, then the rooms here are perfect for you.

This motel has not been updated maybe ever! the tile in the bathroom is unsecure & the beds were very thin and uncomfortable. bedding was thin & very unattractive. It is obvious no money has been put into the motel in a very long time. My concern was cleanliness, which I would rate as poor. I would not recommend this... More

Great service by all the staff, but Brandon makes you feel right at home. The over-All value for what you pay can't be beat for this part of the Cape in August ! We will definitely be back again and again !

I stayed in this motel for one night on July 18th, and cut my finger on a broken bathroom floor tile that I was trying to put back in the space on the floor it had come out of after it stuck to my foot. The cut was across my knuckle, so it required sutures to close. This happened at... More

I spent a few days at Olde Tavern because of a Groupon deal with my significant other. The landscape was really pretty with nice flowers and greenery, the location was ideal being very close to restaurants and only a 5-8 minute drive to either of the beaches (Nauset was the best!), and the staff (front desk and housekeeper) were nice.... We stayed at this motel recently because it was the only place we could get a one night reservation. Thank goodness we only stayed one night! I have read some of the other reviews about how nice the people who run this place are-- and they were very nice, but that does not make up for the state of the... More

This motel has seen better days. The grounds were nice and price was good for the area. The room, while large, was stuck in the 1970"s and in need of updating. Bathroom overall seemed clean but the bathtub grout was mildew stained. Breakfast was coffee and store bought donuts. The staff was friendly.
