This review is coming late, but we have fond memories of our stay at this inn. The location, the restaurant, the special wine recommended by the bar tender that we always order now, are among these memories. But, what is most special are the owners. They are warm, caring people, the likes of which is rare today. You can feel... more

I stayed at the Inn for 1 night during the blackout that wiped out pretty much all power on the cape. This inn was one of the few (if not the only) that remained fully operational. The room I stayed in, room 3, was a standard and definitely made a good first impression. The wood furniture is beautiful and there... more

I want to thank this reviewer for her suggestions. As a result we have added room darkening shades for those that would like to use them. We have also added Country Curtains as an accent to all rooms. Guests have a choice to enjoy an unobstructed view of the water or to adjust the light in the room to their...

The Orleans Inn, located in Oleans, MA (Cape Cod), is a large inn located on the water. The family that owns the inn is friendly and accomodating. We always looked forward to a continental breakfast (includes fresh made eggs, if you wish!) and a paper each morning. The rooms are small, but functional, including a/c, heat, shower, tub, couch, queen... more

My family and I spent a week on Cape Cod at the Orleans Waterfront Inn and can't wait to return. The Orleans Inn is truley our home away from home. This was our first visit to this Inn and we can't wait to return. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the best part is that a full breakfast... more

The Orleans Inn is clean and the staff is friendly and caring. However, the Inn is right on the route 6 rotary - our room overlooked Papa Gino's and was about 200 feet from the traffic. It was constant and very noisy. We paid an exorbinate amount of money for a very average looking room. The breakfast was on a... more

The Inn is 1/4 mile from the Orleans Rotary which makes it convenient to find but off the highway. Fodors gave us the ultimate compliment in being the Fodors Choice for Cape Cod. Frommer's rated us the best value for Cape Cod. We are the only hotel on the Cape that includes a full breakfast complimentary with the stay. It...

We stayed at the Orleans Inn in a regular room and it was just that..."regular" - the bed was comfortable enough, the room was clean enough, the staff was nice enough, but there was no real "wow" or anything of that nature. The "continental breakast" that is offered left a lot to be desired...but free is free. Upon checking out... more

So the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the staff was nice and the full breakfast was complimentary. Some guests, thankfully few and far between are not appreciative. We are the only hotel on the Cape that provides a free full breakfast including eggs, bacon, juice, coffee, muffins, assorted toasting breads, cereals, danish etc. We also have no minimum stay...

By the time we arrived at this property we were extremely frustrated. We were in town for a family wedding, and so far nothing was going right. We were the last ones in the family to arrive, only to find that the houses rented for the group were much to small for all of us. Therefore we had to find... more

Our family and friends took the entire Inn for 3 days for our son's wedding on Sept 23, 2006. Ed Maas, the owner, worked with me for months as we fine tuned exactly what we needed. The bride's family, who have a house less than a mile away and were able to personally visit many facilities, selected the Orleans Inn... more

My husband and I have fond memories of the Orleans Inn. The owners, Ed Maas and his daughter Laurie, were genuine, hospitalbe and exemplified what inn owners should be. The inn has everything you need after a day of whale-whatching; a classy but not stuffy restaurant and bar in a warm, quaint Cape Cod ambiance.. We were introduced to a... more

The Orleans Inn is truly one of a kind. The beautiful waterfront setting, romantic dining in a Victorian Sea Captian Mansion with impecable service and gourmet meals. This will be our favorite stop on the Cape for years to come. The owner's family is truly caring and attentive. The rooms were immaculate and the breadfast with Orleans Inn blend of... more
