Travel Inn got it right with very comfortable beds with firm mattresses, and the room is fairly clean (the bathroom is a tight squeeze) with powerful new A/C units (and windows also open for fresh air). As other reviewers have noted, the TV is old, and the shower stall seemed a little dingy. The phone was filthy and the TV... More

This is one of those cases where "it is what it is," a budget motel off a highway exit, no frills, just a place to hang your hat for the night. The major advantage to this place is that it's about as cheap a lodging as you can find just about anywhere in the state. Predictably, the decor is old,... More

We lived in Orange most of our lives and recently moved to NC. I had never had the need to rent of the only 2 motels in town. We chose the Travel Inn over the Executive Inn due to reviews. (FYI both hotels are owned by the same family). Our check in process was simple, the staff was very helpful,... More

Seems to be a vanishing breed of motels, cheap, basic and clean. You seem to more and more get expensive or gross. This had a comfortable bed and clean room. Not the ritz, but not priced like the ritz.

Chose to stay here based purely on price. $50 is a good price and about two-thirds the price of the big chains. You get a safe secure room, a reasonable selection of tv channels, a fridge and a microwave. Soap and towels in the bathroom and clean sheets on the bed. Yes the rooms are shabby and showing their age... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend in October. First the good things: The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and adequate. Now the bad things: There were live and dead bugs in every corner of both the bathroom and the bedroom. There were stains on the ceilings. The room had a funky smell. I... More

The motel is quite basic, but for the price its an excellent place to sleep for a night or two. The room is quite spacious, has huge TV and refrigerator, the decor is a bit dated, but adequate. The lady on reception was extremely friendly and welcoming, this was really nice, and I was also offered a coffee in the... More

This little motel is run by a husband-wife team who are friendly, personable, and service-oriented. The room was small and decor outdated, but it was clean and the bed comfortable. Microwave, mini-fridge, hair dryer. Shower was small but everything worked and we only paid $55 on a Saturday night. Recommend this place to cost-conscious travelers. Don't expect 3-star accommodations and... More

I wasn't sure whether to give three or four stars for this motel. While not what you might consider a four-star hotel, it's good value for the money -- about $50 a night for us. We had wanted to stay in Greenfield but almost everything within a 15-mile radius was booked for the weekend, so we stayed at this little... More

I would recommend Travel Inn in Orange MA for three main reasons: 1)The owners go out of their way to assure their guests comfort and go out of their way to fulfill ones needs. 2) The motel's location is convenient to Routs 202, 2 and 2A. 3) You get a quality room at an affordable price. I would not hesitate... More
