The hotel has a nice view over the coast line, near the historical "camp ground", is well kept, has free coffee/tea facilities and friendly personnel. A nice restaurant is located opposite. Oak Bluff is probably the nicest location to stay on the island.

Having never been to Martha's Vineyard I didn't really know what to expect when it came to lodging. I was very happy with the Nashua house. The room was small but very cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable with fluffy pillows. There is an silent time from 10:30 to 7:30 which was hard since we are night hawks and... More

It's a bit sad - there was 69-79$ offers for nearly twenty years. No, everything is nearly doubled, price wise. Cheapest room is now $129. Horrendous noise sometimes but no complaints at $69 - not sure if it's Ok at 129-300$!

From my perspective as the hotel owner, this review exemplifies a critically unfortunate failing of the Trip Advisor site, i.e. a reviewer can write a patently false review and do irreparable harm to a really wonderful hotel without any effort on Trip Advisor's part to get at the truth. The fact of the matter is that 12 of the 16... More

Small....exceptionally clean.....affordable and in the heart of Oak's Bluffs. I would recommend this sweet hotel to anyone. Our room on the first floor was one of two with a private bath. Very sweet Victorian surroundings and our room was newly renovated. This location was close to everything. Coffee..tea.snacks available. Make sure you review with them their cancellation policy before you... More

We stayed here in march in the off season and it was just delightful. Marybeth was incredibly helpful without being intrusive, and everything she recommended we do was just spot on. The hotel is right in the middle of town next to the water, the bus and the main restaurant strip. The decor reminded me of an English tea house... More

Know if an emergency comes up this hotel will not be accommodating at all. When the Feb. Martha's Vineyard race was cancelled for the first time in 18 years other hotels in town (including the Mansion House) offered exceptions to their cancellation policy including gift certificates and partial refunds. The race held in Feb. draws a huge crowd. Its a... More

This was a really rare and unfortunate situation for both the guest and us. This guest booked 10 of our 16 rooms on September 7 2014, which were all of the rooms we had available, for a one-night stay on Valentines Day, Saturday night, Feb 14 2015. On Feb 9, 5 days prior to her date of arrival, and well... More

Nashua House has a great location, near the ferry landings and bus stop in downtown Oak Bluffs. The prices are also reasonable by island standards. The rooms are small, most don't have an attached bathroom, but everything was very neat and clean and we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The mattress was pretty soft but still comfy... This is how you run a guest house - thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great location, friendly staff, very clean, no breakfast provided but tea coffee and snacks available all day. No attached bathroom but not a problem sharing with the other rooms.

I cannot rate this place highly enough. It was everything we could have hoped for, for a romantic get-away weekend. You can look at each room on their website and make an informed choice. I guess the very reasonable prices must be due to the fact that most of the rooms do not have en-suite bathrooms. This was no problem... More

Great location, price and service. We were within walking distance to everything in Oaks Bluff and close to the bus for excursions to the south and north. Room was very quaint and our stay felt private even though we shared the bathroom with a couple other rooms. I'd definitely stay at Nashua house again for my next trip to Martha's... More
