We arrived and were told "you have been upgraded to a double bed, room with a view". When we got to our room it was a single bed no view. When we made the front desk aware they were pretty rude. One lady even said " well thats the problem when you buy those groupons, nobody reads the fine print".... More

Basic hotel providing a roof over your head, hot shower and a comfortable bed. Everything about the Wesley is outdated and worn. No breakfast served, no bar. But ask yourself - does this really matter, you are not going to MV to stay inside of a hotel, are you?

Very outdated. If not for the location, this place would be out of business. Time has passed it by. Squeaky doors, outdated decor. Not a room to hang around in. Small computer size monitor TV. Parking in back is very limited. Wall paper pealing.

We chose this hotel strictly because of its location. Beware of taxi hagglers when you get off the ferry. We had a nice small room on the second floor, yes there is no elevator. The room was clean but the furniture is were somewhat outdated. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There was an iron mark on the... More

This hotel was aweful, terrible. we were on the 4th floor with no elevator service.!!!; there was no phone in room. they offered free wifi but was down more than anything. the staff were short with guests, and very rude. This was the most expensive hotel we had stayed at on our trip and definately the worse one. Would not recommend.... More

This is an historic hotel about to be thoroughly renovated by new owners, I was told. I happen to love these places, squeaky stairs, smaller rooms and all!! Everything was clean and comfortable, and the location is terrific, right in the heart of Oak Bluffs with all that the town has to offer - and unmatched views! No restaurant on... More

Very good location, right in downtown Oak Bluffs across from the ferry. If you have never been to the Vineyard before, there are no traditional hotels, mostly B&B's. We came over on the ferry with only out bikes and spent 2 days touring the island and this was the perfect place to land.

This is LITERALLY the worst place I've ever stayed at. The place is completely outdated. They have no elevators, no restaurant, no food, and the customer service is not very satisfying. There's never anyone at the front desk, you always have to hope that there is someone in the back to come help you. Luckily we were able to find... More

I stayed at the Wesley, for a vacation stay right after the busy season ended. The hotel was clean and the staff was great. But if you're looking for a new updated hotel this is not the place for you. On the other hand if you're looking for a historic building with charm and a great view of the Harbor... More

We enjoyed two nights here at the height of the tourist season--I think the room number was 106.. I use a wheelchair--overall, it was accessible. Two doors to the room--one from an outside entrance at rear of the hotel, and the other from an indoor corridor. The indoor corridor has an insanely sloped ramp--very dangerous. Better to use the outdoor... More
