Our stay at the Dockside could not have been better. John and his staff greeted us with a smile allowing us to feel right at home. We began our Sunday arrival with a front porch party. We weren't about to let the Sunday rain bring us down. We stayed in room 34 which has awesome views of the harbor from... More

Going to the Vineyard with 6 girls, we found Dockside Inn online with great reviews and decided to try it out. The location is unbeatable, less than a 5 minute walk from the ferry and steps away from the waterfront bars and restaurants. Our room was on the 3rd floor and John happily assisted us with bringing our heavy cooler... More

Got off the boat walked across the street and was greeted by a friendly receptionists who showed us around the small but wonderful property. Full kitchen with snacks, a beach house with anything you would need to take a day trip to the beach, and hot tub/patio/outdoor shower all packed into a pint sized property. Room 33 slept four comfortably... More

This was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard and we started on a real high note. The Dockside Inn was clean, hospitable and centrally located. The staff was so accommodating - we had freshly baked cookies and champagne on the porch! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again.

We have visited MV every other year since 1982 & for the last several years made Dockside Inn our home base. Basically because it's been close to the action & the Inn & staff have taken very good care of us. Accommodations range from 1 bedroom up to suites at reasonable rates. New owners & renovated in 2012. New paint,... More

My husband and I stayed at the Dockside Inn back in 2001. Back then it was quite run down and outdated. So when we were looking for hotels in Oak Bluffs this one came up. I was a bit hesitant, but price wise was the best deal. Well come to find out the place was renovated and looked bright and... More

My mother and I stayed at the Dockside Sunday. My mother is 83 and very spry. We visit Martha's Vineyard every year (she was born there). We usually stay elsewhere, but decided to try the Dockside this year. We were both so impressed! The staff was terrific (Meghan was wonderful, so pleasant and accommodating). The solarium was well stocked with... More

We made a quick stop on Martha's Vineyard during a New England trip and picked the Dockside Inn based on price, accommodations (we were traveling with a family of 5 and many hotels won't fit 5 in a room), location (we didn't bring a car, so wanted to be able to walk from the ferry) and other Tripadvisor reviews. We... More

We stayed at the Docksie Inn for 3nights in July. The location is great. It's right across the street from the Oak Bluffs marina where the Hiline cruise ferry docks. It's a block from the Bus stop that operate buses to other towns and Circuit Ave. is a few steps away. The staff was great, especially Mellisa who checked us... More

We decided to stay overnight on Martha's Vineyard on the spur of the moment. We found a room at the Dockside Inn at 9:00am as soon we got off the ferry. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in early. They called us as soon as the the room was cleaned. This was so convenient, we could... More
