Enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Northampton. Hotel is centrally located (really the best location you could possibly ask for if you want to enjoy downtown Northampton). We picked a room in the Gothic Gardens given that those rooms are more modern. Everything was impeccably clean and the service was fantastic (we asked for more pillows / towels on a... More

First off the staff at this hotel was great - every person we interacted with (with the exception of one) was very friendly and helpful, and it seemed that they genuinely cared about your stay. We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding off property - at first we really liked the hotel. It's in a great location, with... More

I attended a wedding and stayed at the Hotel Northampton. What truly amazed me was the friendliness of their staff. They went out of their way to make our weekend truly unforgettable. The young men who checked me in to my room on Saturday were extremely friendly and helpful.

We have been staying at this lovely Historic Hotel at least twice a year for over 20 years. Have only had great service from staff and Always comfortable accommodations. 2 quaint restaurants in hotel offering all American fare, one with an outdoor patio which is always enjoyable to sit and relax and watch the goings on of the village.

I stayed at this hotel for a week long conference. I stayed in a nice room with a balcony. It was very clean and had lots of toiletries. This hotel was very noisy though. On the corner street, the light makes a beeping sound to allow pedestrians to cross. My room was very close to it and it was very... More

Hotel Northampton We have traveled extensively and stayed in several thousand hotel rooms on six continents. The Hotel Northampton is the worst place we have ever stayed. In early May, after a late check in, we awoke, and sleepily made and drank coffee in the room using sink water. We then realized that dark brown water was coming from the... More

My family of four stayed at the Hotel Northampton over Memorial Day weekend for my wife's college reunion at Smith College in Northampton. We paid $310 per night ($348 after taxes) for a suite with one king size bed, a pull-out couch, and a small kitchenette. Our room was in the annex property, not the main building, and for the... We stayed over Memorial Day weekend for a wedding. My husband used the gym and found it to be a bit better than the gyms in most historical hotels. The lobby area and entryway atrium at the front of the hotel is grand and lovely. The room was comfortable and clean. The décor was appropriate for a historical New England... More

This was my second visit to Hotel Northampton. The town here is very charming and the hotel location is right in the center. The first time here the fire alarm rang during the night and no one gave us any direction. But that was 3 years ago. It seems to be well run today. My only gripe is that there... More

We were visiting the area for a graduation ceremony and this was the hotel the extended family picked. It looks quite charming from the outside, but once you are checked in you realize it's just an old hotel that needs some help. The rooms are small and not level. Ok, I guess you can excuse this because it's an old... More
