Visited Noho with wife for the weekend, and enjoyed a quaint, classic queen size room at the front of the hotel. This hotel is classic style, lots of antiques and character right in the heart of Northampton - excellent location for dining and shopping. You do step back in time a bit when you stay here (built in 1927). The... More

If you end up in Northampton Mass because of Smith College or trendy, eclectic shopping, this is the place to stay. Like most things in Northampton, mixing the old and new is paramount. This hotel does it with ease. It feels like an upscale lakefront lodge but with the lightness and brightness of a New England cottage. Charming and elegant.... More

In western Massachusetts this the best place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned what seemed like the moment we left for breakfast. That's always nice to come back to a tidy room. Very traditional old New England feel with historical tavern is very charming. The room we had (212) had a private sunroom and access... More

Would recommend this to people wanted to visit the town or see a show at the calvin. Great service, clean and nice room in a historic hotel. Bar could use another bartender but was a cool little place.

I will start by saying that this is always my first choice because of the location. It is also a beautiful and charming hotel until you get in the rooms. The location can't be beat but I feel like the owners know there is no competition so they do the least they can to keep it going. The mattresses are... More

I would have given this HOTEL three stars for "average", but because of the location and convenience of walkable restaurants and bars, I gave it 4stars. The hotel is charming; dated furniture and ambiance adds to the character of the location. The staff is very friendly, and downstairs, Wiggins Tavern is a dark, rustic bar that can provide an end... My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised by this lovely, well-run hotel. It has absolutely everything you need for a perfect, peaceful stay. First of all, the front desk staff is wonderful. We especially loved Lane who has good taste in restaurants and coffee. He also followed through with us on all our requests. Then the room - hands... More

Even though we only spent one night, we had a great experience. We were attending a show at the Calvin Theatre across the street and wanted a place within walking distance. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was on the small side, but it was very clean and quiet. We would definitely go back again.

I have stayed here twice for work. It couldn't be a better location as far as walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, salons. Breakfast has been included with my room, however, there is a smell in the rug like urine. Wiggins Old Tavern is in the basement of Hotel Northampton and is great for a drink or even to... More
