This camping area is great if you want peace and quiet. There were lots of children around the campground but they were busy being down at the rec area. There's a path to the beach from the campground. It takes about a 10 minute walk. We had a great week.

Thank you for your comments and for sharing your great photo of the sunset over the ocean. We work hard to keep our campground peaceful and quiet, yet still fun and active. Please stay with us again. More

My family has been coming to this campground for over 20 years now. Well kept with pleasant and helpful staff. Great place to tent - lots of trees. Very quiet campground. 5 minute walk to Head of the Meadow Beach. Close to Provincetown!

*Clean campground. bathrooms are cleaned twice daily, I think. This is so awesome. *The owners fill up the campground in a really nice way, keeping a buffer between you and neighbors till they have to fill neighboring sites, which is really nice. *campsites fit a big tent, big screen room, and we actually had two screen rooms. * not much... Experienced Canadian tent campers without kids. Fantastic location for exploring the outer cape. Great campsites, quiet campers (people who get it). Great showers clean bathrooms, large campsites. We would definitely come again. Distance travelers, there is a huge "stop and shop" grocery store 15 min away. If I was going again I would save packing space and buy groceries when... More

Thank you! I would definitely agree with you that most of our campers really do "get it". They enjoy the peace and beauty of this special part of Cape Cod, and are respectful of each other and the natural surroundings! More

We stayed 4 nights and I believe they cleaned the toilets 8 times during our stay. This place is very well maintained. The site is in a forest of pine trees, so the ground is covered with pine needles and nothing else can grow except few patches of grass here and there. So wind can flow easily and there was... More

We camped for four days w/ two small kids. Great place that is well kept. Amenities include everything you need - hot showers (7min/25 cents), bathrooms, store, playground. Short walk to the beach. Almost entirely pine wooded sites w/ mass amounts of needles. A lot of rules but nothing too unexpected. Do note the campfire rules: only charcoal, by permit... More

We camp at North of Highland for a week. This was not our first stay, we have stayed before a few times. We stayed in the 200 section. It was so quiet and not a lot of traffic. The staff were so friendly and the lady who works at the camp store gave us information about stuff to do in... More

Yes, the have rules, but nothing outlandish and you can walk to amazing Cape Cod National Seashore in 15-20 min. Best beaches in all of Cape Cod by far. Stay away from rocky and seaweed beaches on lower Cape. Make your way up to Truro and enjoy the beauty. Lots of RV's for the summer, but thats bc the ideal... More

I first camped here in 1998 and have come back every year. As other reviewers have pointed out, there are lots of rules to follow here which may explain why it's so quiet and peaceful! It's a short walk to the National Seashore, one of the most spectacular coastlines anywhere. The Truro Public Library is very close by, and provides... More

This is located in a very beautiful area and within a walking distance to the beach. It was so quiet on the campground, hadn't slept that good in years! The RV we rented was very new and beautiful on the inside. Would recommend for location and value.
