The Sandbar is a gem of a property just 3 miles from Provincetown. The room included a kitchenette and had sliding glass doors that opened onto Cape Cod Bay. The room was clean, neat and very well kept. The owners, who lived on site, were both friendly and accommodating. All of the rooms were non-smoking.

My partner and I are fortunate enough to have done quite a bit of traveling over the years. In addition we are fairly discerning New Yorkers. We booked the Sandbars Inn as a last minute excursion to Provincetown for Memorial Day weekend. Because of the chaos of our schedules, we had to cut the visit short on a holiday weekend... More

This hotel is right off the beach, close to P Town. It's an old fashioned hotel, big and sprawling, set on lovely grounds. There's a private beach for guests, the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's almost as if you were staying at a friend's summer home, rather than a hotel. It's just a... More

I stayed at the Sandbars Inn during the Ragnar just to visit a friend and it was wonderful. I am a military wife and I have traveled quite a bit and this was the best place I ever stayed. The rooms were comfy and inviting. The bathroom was cleaned and had Philosophy toiletries and they all smelled great. We were... More

Our dog is a constant companion and travels everywhere with us. Finding quality pet friendly lodging can sometimes be a challenge. Look no further than Sandbars! The room was spacious with a fully functional stocked kitchenette. The private beach is clean and offers a fire pit for guests to gather and mingle while their dogs run and play in the... More

My partner and I booked this place via Expedia for two nights. The Inn is right on the beach and the view of and proximity to the water are absolutely heavenly. This was in April of 2015 - last weekend - so much of the Cape is still in its sleepy and off season mode. It was lovely to be... More

We did not want to leave. We had such beautiful strolls at the beach, such sunny naps on the chairs in front of the ocean, such cheerful breakfasts after driving 10 minutes to the nearest stop n' shop. We just loved it. The rooms were spot clean, the beach is fabulous, Patee is a lovely host (and her father is... More

Stayed at Sandbars for a long weekend and had an awesome time. Second floor room with balcony overlooking the beach was great. Bonus addition is the kitchenette in every room. The owner Patty really goes out of her way to make your stay is the best possible! Will be back many times.

We have been coming to Sandbars for over 4 years and we have never been disappointed. Pattee & Brian & all their adorable pets have become family to us & make us feel like we are home when we check in. The rooms are amazing, the beach, the view, access to P-town & all of the beaches in the area... More

We should be writing a rave review about you,Laurie and Barbara! Thank you for these kind words, especially about our very old dachshund Luna and the insane Bentley. Can't wait to see Ava and Angelo on the beach again. More

I don't know what happened to my original review, but I'll resubmit it. As the title indicates, we've been going to the Sandbars for more than a decade. I suspect that is due to the great hosts, the terrific sunsets, the fine beach, and the close drive to various restaurants and attractions. Even the neighbors staying at the Inn are... More

Very Grateful for this thoughtful review Don. We've had a great 10 years of your visits and you are one of our cherished regulars. We are lucky to be making new friends but none of them will match your fishing skills or your potatoes! Here's to a great 2015 visit next year. More
