Our third trip back to Kalmar Village. Everything you need in one place. Accommodations are clean. Right on the bayside beach. Daily housekeeping, friendly staff. Full kitchen. I love the real percolator. The public bus stops right in front of the village. No need to drive to Provincetown. You can see the Pilgrim Monument from the beach. If you are... More

We paid over $1k for three nights and all we got was an old cottage that faces the parking lot, with bugs/flies/mosquitos inside and right outside the door (we got bug bites all over our body from the stay), no A/C, window panes that shake with wind, broken fridge, and constant noise from people coming and going. I'm giving this... More

As you read this review, bear in mind that despite the limitations that I will highlight, I am still giving Kalmar five stars. While there is a pool and a beach, Kalmar is by no means a resort. Kalmar is a cottage colony on an extraordinarily picturesque stretch of beach on the outer Cape. The older cottages are circa 1940s... More

I've spent over 30 years of spending some time in the summer in North Truro. Of all the rentals I've stayed at on Rte. 6A, I have to say Kalmar Village is my favorite. I've stayed at almost every rental on the scenic beach road, and I have never been disappointed at Kalmar. Very clean, friendly service, daily maid service... More

I stayed here this Memorial Day Weekend (a HUGE weekend in Provincetown) with a bunch of friends. The courtyard area was perfect for grilling and games...and it's right on the beach! Great location - just far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to bike right into town. Also has pet-friendly cabins which is a big deal... More

Kalmar's newer/larger queen efficiencies are one of the best deals on the Cape. Nice, clean, updated rooms with kitchenette, couch, dining table, etc. The beach they're on is amazing at low tide when it goes out hundreds of yards.

I spent a week iin September in efficiency unit no. 5 at «Trade Winds» which is managed by «Kalmar Village». Not roomy but since I was alone it was perfect & 2 people could certainly get around fine. Basic accomodation but comfy, quiet, clean & very reasonable price. A/C installed but I did'nt need it. Friendly & helpful personnel *.... More

We knew that the cabins were older so we were not expecting five star! They were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.... The "bus" stopped out in front and took us to p-town... The grounds of the hotel were excellent.... someone was always working on the units.. We had a two bedroom ,,, kitchen,, living room .one... More

We started coming here when our boys were only 5 weeks old and one year old and now are teenegers and they love it! Its... More

If you want to stay on the beach, in an old school, modest, clean, simple cottage, at a reasonable Cape Cod price, Kalmar might be your place. We stayed one night here this week. It is very close to Provincetown which is an absolute must see if you are going to visit the Cape. We stayed in one of their... More
