Just stayed here for one night. The hotel is VERY, VERY dated (think lots of dusty silk floral arrangements in the Lobby). Textiles in poor shape - same for bathroom fixtures/hard surfaces. Carpets and upholstery need cleaning badly. The heater is VERY noisey. It was tempting to put up with the chill rather than listen to that racket. Stayed here unexpectedly (was supposed to stay with family) and had an acceptable experience. Went with Number ONe son to visit Mass College of Liberal Arts. Hotel needs some work, but overall we had a good time. Reasonable prices, at least for the summer (considering their proximity to Mass Moca and the Williamstown Theater Festival.) Also the people who work there were just friendly, honest people. No forced smiles! Would recommend if you're in North Adams. more
