I was travelling to Boston for work and needed to be in the Back Bay all day, so initially wasn't thinking of staying in Newton. Very fortunately for me, everything I looked at in the most central areas was booked and I expanded my search and ended up at this truly wonderful bed and breakfast! This is an elegantly and... My family of four just returned from our wonderful trip to Newton, MA. We were lucky enough to stay at the beautiful Blue Highlands B & B. The house has a warm and cozy feel with an incredibly welcoming and very helpful hostess/owner Marsha. Our rooms were very clean and the beds couldn't have been more comfortable. We had one... More

Blue Highlands is hands down the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Marsha is wonderful, gracious, and helpful, and does a wonderful job helping you figure out the city - places to check out, how to work the T (which is literally maybe a five minute walk away in this lovely little neighborhood. It was great). The rooms were... More

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and comfortable B&B. The hostess Marsha is very kind and helpful. She gave us great tips on how to get the most out of our visit to Boston. The home is located just a short distance from the T (Boston's subway system). The area is safe, so the brief walk was quite... More

Great place to stay, we would definitely come back here! With the fabulous owner & hostess, who gave great hints for what to do, we had interesting conversations about various topics. That was phantastic! The rooms are perfectly clean and have comfortable beds. The bathroom is spacious & perfectly clean as well. And the breakfast is great: We just loved... More

Marsha, the owner and hostess of this B&B is a kind, generous and amazingly helpful soul. She gave us the best advice for places to visit, helped us out with umbrellas and whatever else we needed, and fixed us delicious breakfasts. The room was large, confortable, and impeccably clean, as was the bathroom. This beautiful victorian house is located a... More

We stayed here with our Granddaughter in May, and it was a lovely place to stay. Marsha the owner goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The house is spotless, and we had the run of the house at all times The accommodation was very good indeed with comfortable beds, and large bathroom. On our last... More

We had the best time at this wonderful B&B. The location was great- a quiet street in beautiful Newton and we could walk to a couple of great restaurants, as well as the greenline. The bed was soooo comfortable- it has been a long time since I slept so well! Marsha and Luna were the best hosts. They made us... More

I could not find a place in Boston for the marathon, I talked to someone that knew what they were talking about and we stayed at this wonderful Bed & Breakfast in this great town of Newton. The green line is a block away and a twenty min. train ride to downtown. It could not have been better and we... More
