I stayed at A Village B&B for 4 nights in December 2015 with my husband and 15 year old son, while we came to visit our other son attending at Newton South High School on a study abroad program. We stayed in the Suite on top floor of the house. The Suite has 1 double-bed room, a small living room... More

Owner responded immediately to my emergency need for a local room and fortunately was able to provide me with well appointed, extremely comfortable, spotless, room in her charming, beautifully maintained and well appointed Victorian which is in a safe, residential neighborhood. Breakfast was "community style." Food was terrific, creative, and the owner even accommodated my gluten-free/dairy restricted necessity! Other "residents"... More

If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay that will make you feel at home, this is the place. Claudia is a terrific host, answering any questions about transportation, local things to do, and making you feel like you've known her for years. Stayed in the "Penthouse Suite" which is bigger than some college apartments I lived in years... More

What a lovely comment and how nice to have you with us for such a nice stay. I still love that you sent a photo of your similar dining room to me prior to arrival, what a nice personal touch. Hope you are glad you are back in California and out of the New England weather, though I know you... More

We stayed for 10 nights at the Village B and B and enjoyed every bit of it. It's such a lovely house which smells and looks wonderful from the moment you walk in. We took our shoes off at the door and felt at home right from the start. We were up in the attic suite which contained a large... More

Joy, George and Sarah, I miss you! It felt like you lived here. Thank you so much for your comments, it made me realize you got home safe and sound too! There is a shade for the skylight, it's horizontal and pulls across, darkening the room completely. I only mention that because when I didn't have a darkening one about... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at A Village Bed and Breakfast for a friend's memorial in October. The Inn was exactly how I had envisioned it and seen it and described on trip advisor. It was a darling house in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. We stayed for three nights at Katie's room. We didn't want to leave. The bed... More

We rested our heads for three nights here. It's located in a quaint village within walking distance (5 min) to the train into Boston. We slept in Katie's room which was comfy and so cozy. Even included a small fridge for drinks or leftovers. The foliage outside was beautiful with bright yellow leaves and reds! Claudia was so sweet and welcoming,... More

Well, the house is pretty cute, as is the surrounding neighborhood. It is very close to the T, however is about a 30-40 minute ride into Boston. We stayed 4 nights and that got old quickly having to make a lengthy commute each night. But, for the price point, we knew that going in. Claudia, the inn keeper could not... More

Darci, I am so sorry that your experience here was not what you expected. I wish you would have mentioned some of this while you were here. I could have explained at least some of what you found to be objectionable. First of all, we are a "home-stay" B & B, which is different than a B & B that... More

A delightful place to stay. The house is charming, warm and very comfortable. Claudia, the host is delightful and thoughtful. I loved the neighborhood- plenty of appealing shops and restaurants nearby. Also close to travel routes. I'd definitely return.

I contacted A Village B&B as I needed a place to lay my head while my husband was a patient at Brigham and Women's Hospital. I don't know how I got so lucky to have found such a lovely place to stay. The Inn is decorated in an eclectic style that represents Claudia's love of art, her world travels and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in A Village B&B for a week at the end of August 2015. It is a beautiful house, 2-3 minutes walk from the Newton Highlands 'T' stop, making it ideal for travelling in and out of Boston. The last trains run around midnight during the week but this extends to about 2.30am at the weekends,... More
