We enthusiastically endorse A Village B&B. Clean, comfortable, nicely located, and the breakfasts are over the top! It was our "Boston base" during daughter's four years at Boston College. Nothing squirrelly here. Claudia is a first-class host.

We stayed four days at A Village Bed and Breakfast over Boston Marathon weekend. We had the Suite and Emily's room. We enjoyed the kitchenette and extra living space of the suite and Emily's room is cozy and comfortable. Claudia is a gracious and caring hostess. She prepares a wonderful breakfast each morning and makes you feel so welcome in... More

Our stay at A Village B&B over marathon weekend was great. Perfectly located for all things race related, away from the chaos of downtown Boston but easily accessable via the T. We were able to take in a game at Fenway Park as well! The B&B was lovely. Our room, Katie's room, was large, sunny and had a small refrigerator... More

Although I've never before posted a second review on a place, A Village warrants it. I use it as my base of operations for the Boston Marathon, an annual ritual for me. The location allows me to make friends with Heartbreak hill, commute daily on the 'T' 2 blocks away, to downtown Boston, eat healthy food and remain emotionally positively... More

A Village B&B was my home away from home when I visited Boston for a residential seminar at my school. The rooms are warm, attractive and clean. The bathroom and common areas are immaculate. Breakfast was wonderful, always fresh, and tailored to my tastes. Claudia was a delightful and welcoming host, always happy to make good conversation or suggest ways... More

I stayed at A Village B and B for six long weekends (Thursday - Sunday) from May 2014 through March 2015 while doing training in the Boston area for a new career. Claudia, the proprietor, was incredibly attentive and accommodating. Breakfasts were great and made to order at whatever hour I needed them. I loved Katie's room which was my... More

Our family of 4 stayed at A Village B&B for almost a week in February and couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The city was buried in snow but the location made it so easy to get around. It's literally steps to the T, to some nice restaurants, bakeries, and shops, and easy to get into the city or onto... More

My husband, college-age daughter and I stayed with Claudia for six days while moving our daughter into her first apartment in Boston. We knew we'd have to rent a car to pick up furniture, supplies, etc.and just couldn't face trying to find parking during move-in weekend in Boston, so the suburbs seemed like the best option. Newton is ideally located, a... More

Warm friendly feels like home Bed and Breakfast! Claudia is a perfect hostess. It is in easy walking distance to the MBTA, restaurants and shopping. We stayed in the first floor King room and it was wonderful. A nice large room with a lovely screened in porch off the bedroom. The continental style breakfast had a huge variety of items... More

Staying at A village B &B in Newtonville, MA felt like being sweetly embraced within the bosom of family without any intrusiveness! The rooms were lovely, the bed SO comfortable, the common rooms very inviting and the daily breakfast was plentiful and absolutely and divine! Most important, we were in town for a family celebration with my son, daughter-in-law and 2...
