My sister and I stayed here in July for a week in the first floor apartment and absolutely loved it! The kitchen had everything you might need, and the apartment is within a short walking distance to downtown Newburyport. This beautiful colonial home is furnished with antiques and full of quirky details like the old warming oven niches in the... More

I do not like to give a negative review, so I will start with the positives, as indicated by others. My daughter and I stayed at 22 Market St, Room 2 on the second floor on Yankee Homecoming weekend. The location was good, the neighborhood/block was pleasant, not much noise at all. The bed was comfy, and the room and... More

Hosts Tim Weaver and Victoria Leigh are more like your favorite cousins than the gracious inn keepers they are. "Is there anything I can get you?'' seems to be a frequent question; Jeff, the affable manager echos the hospitality. Although I have stayed at their lovely Bread n Breakfast Greenleaf Inn, we much prefer the privacy of the Inn; it's... More

This was a very poor quality inn for the price that was charged. No one greets you and they just leave your keys taped to the front door. The room had holes in the walls where photos or other items had hung. The interior doors had been repaired numerous times. The bathroom sink was so small you could barely brush... More

June visit to Nbypt. Arrived at the inn and no one was there. Called the phone number several times finally teaching the receptionist. Updated us and we found our apt. Well appointed, Kitchen a bit dated but who needs it when in Nbypt. Decent location -short distance to town center. Worth a stay.

We stayed for a week at one of the Market St Inn apartments and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff helped us with questions, helped us with good instructions to get settled in, and provided extra blankets and pillows quickly. The apartment had a small kitchen that was stocked well enough for us to make and bring a few side dishes... More
