I had the pleasure of spending the 4th of July having dinner in this great restaurant. I remember having ordered lamb and it was delicious! my partner had something different but it was super tasty as well. The view is stunning due to a great window facing the sea and they also offer outdoor seating, it was a bit expensive... More

We are twice at the Beach Plum this August once with a group of friends and again with our son (who works in hospitality in New York City) and his girlfriend. It was fantastic both times. Interesting menu with what I believe is a new chef this year. If you want a special night out then come to the Beach... More

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner together on Friday, August 7. Everything about our experience was great--from the table on the deck overlooking the water to the rustic but elegant decor to the beautifully presented food to the excellent (and friendly!) service. We started our meal with raw oysters and tuna crudo and both were top-notch. I had... More

My wife and I stayed at the Beach plum Inn last summer for two nights. Over the years we had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. However, the restaurant was under new management and it was a terrible disappointment. The views as always were spectacular but the service was terrible. The young waitress had such... More

If you are familiar with the Inn there is something critical that you should know: Car passes to LVB and Squibnocket are no longer included in the rate. LVB is up to $85 and I think Squib is $65. The receptionist explained that the Town of Chilmark asked to take the passes away. This is an incredible shame as most... More

I have eaten at the Beach Plum many times over the years. It has always been pricey but the ambiance has consistently been good. Over the last couple of years the food has been highly variable in quality. But a meal a week or so ago was spectacularly good. A visiting friend and I both had a main course of... More

We've stayed at the Beach Plum Inn once a summer for the past two years and plan to do it again next summer. I love that this place is quaint, private and most of all "up-island" (meaning west side). The couples cottages are a great place to rest and spend some alone time as they provide a good deal of... More

We did not stay but did done at the Beach Plum Inn. The inn itself is gorgeous and perfectly situated with a great harbour view. There was a wedding rehearsal dinner going on in the outdoor area and it looked magnificent. My whole group agreed that the dining rooms decor was enviable! The menu is small but the food is...
