This is well located and is within walking distance of a charming visit. The rooms are nice although a little dark however the frotn desk staff was exceptionally rude. Did not seem to be effective management at this property and staff working at cross purposes. Breakfast was weak with no place to sit.

Let's just say that the rooms at this location are beat. Make sure that you don't walk barefoot on the disgusting room floors. The two things that "save" this place are the staff (very friendly and helpful) and the location. But those two things aren't enough to convince me to stay here again.

Not much new to add to other reviews - the hotel was clean, staff were helpful. Beds weren't very comfortable. Medford is a sleepy town outside Boston - nothing to actually do in the town itself. It is a good base if you have your own car. We stayed for 2 nights. One night we ate at the local Italian... More

We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Medford because it was conveniently located near I-93, for an easy drive into Boston. As another option to reach the city, you can park your car for the day at the Wellington metro station, which is 2 miles away from the hotel. There is also a shuttle service to the station that we... After a disappointing night stay at a boston B&B, we came here & the hotel provided most of our needs. It was clean & more importantly, it also smelled clean! Everytime we left the room, we always arrived to a cleaned room, our bed was made, & additional toiletries were left for us. The beds are super comfortable & great... More

I would absolutely stay here again. This hotel seems very well run. The staff during my stay were courteous, professional, and helpful. The entire Boston area suffered a water pipe break on May 1 that made the tap water undrinkable, and this hotel's manager ran out and got bottled water which was then given out free of charge to every... Stayed there for 7nights+ this january for business and I thought this hotel was excellent! I paid on average 100$/night.. Pros: - Bed was very comfortable! - Hotel / Rooms looked recenly renovated - Free continental breakfast! Selection was good, considering the length of my stay of course some items were repetetive but overall happy with the selection. Bagels, toasts,... More

Most of the other reviews pretty much say it all: really spacious, clean, comfortable rooms; great beds and bedding; wonderful helpful staff; adequate food services (nothing fancy); small pool, fitness room; free internet, free indoor parking and continental breakfast. You just can't beat the price. We found a deal for $89 per night on a hotel discount website. A word... More

the first thing you'd notice abt this hotel is that its probably the only one in the tiny town of medford. if you're planning to visit boston as a tourist, beware of its location as you'd need to reply on a cab or the free (but infrequent and not-so-reliable free hotel shuttle) to get you to downtown boston. other than... Stayed overnight here while visiting colleges in the area. Hotel was pleasant and comfortable. Decent-sized room, good continental breakfast. Had a bit of trouble controlling the heat in the room, but other than that, fine.
