This is a chain hotel. Everything is perfectly adequate or better. Staff was very nice and checked us in early without warning. Rooms were spacious, clean and very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was much better than a simple continental and we were able to get a couple of glasses of wine in the lobby before retiring to our room after... More

I gave this hotel 5 stars, because it functions well. It's attractive and clean, but not luxurious. We stayed 6 nights and I was sad to say goodbye to the staff...we sought them out when we left...can't ever remember doing that. Thanks Hector, Anthanie, JR. Jona, Lisa and the rest of the young energetic crew. Our room was more of... More

Drove up to Boston area Monday night from the Philly burbs for an early morning Tuesday meeting. I've stayed in the Medford Hyatt Place before without incident. My poor experience started immediately. Unfortunately, my check-in was anything but expedient. I waited 20 minutes (and I was the ONLY person there) to get my room key... apparently due to 'a problem... More

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. When we needed a shuttle to the "T" they provided prompt service. It is a ways out of Boston proper but with the added shuttle service it was easy to go into the city and back with ease. The morning breakfast was substantial. Traffic around the hotel was crazy and it took almost... More

Like other Hyatt Places, this one has some seating areas in the room, a comfy bed, a nice big TV, and a courteous staff. BUT... they're not putting any money into maintenance, and they really need to. The sofa cushions were like pancakes-- very uncomfortable. The tub had some ugly rust stains (at least I think they were rust), the... More

Not the best Hyatt we have stayed at. Showing its age. We stayed on the top floor. Room 807. Great view of the City. Not much road noise. Upon arrival the room was clean. The toilet paper only had one new roll, The other roll had been used by prior guest. The door stop in our room on the floor... More

Family of 4 stayed at this hotel for one night. Wish that we could've stayed here for the other nights as well. A very spacious room with 2 double beds, a comfortable living room with a computer desk that is separated from the sleeping area. The living area has a small bar sink and a fridge. We were very comfortable... More

Great stay at the Hyatt Place Medford while visiting family friends. rooms great, 2 adults and 2kids no problem. Breakfast good quality and varied, free newspaper. The free shuttle to anywhere in a 3 mile radius was brilliant. Taxi to Logan was 18 mins at 8 a.m. Which pleasantly surprised us. Will stay again next time in Medford.

Our objective was to stay in a place close enough to Tufts university. The hotel is not exactly a place you would be staying for its amenities or views for sure! With that in mind, the underground covered parking was secure and easy, hotel check in and staff helpful, and rooms big enough and comfortable enough for the one night... More

I enjoyed my stay at this Hyatt Place. Conveniently located off a highway and with a parking garage. Elevator takes you straight from parking to your room. Nice! The hotel staff was friendly as well. Medford is far from the city about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
