We hugely enjoyed our stay, booked for us by some local friends who were unexpectedly unable to look after us themselves. There was a warm welcome, and staff could not have been more helpful in giving advice. Good breakfasts, too. The building is rather wonderful and evocative, and you quickly feel at home - given that we'd just come 3000... More

Staying at this inn, was a relaxing getaway from winter's gloom. The Inn is the pinnacle of the New England colonial style. Marblehead has that authentic colonial seaport feel. The nearby Five Corners Kitchen Restaurant had a unique gourmet menu – but was also very informal, modern and fun. Our room was quiet and cozy with fire in the fireplace.... More

My husband and I enjoyed a night away for our 25th anniversary. The inn was charming, nicely decorated, and well located in the center of the historic part oftown. Our fireplaced room was large and comfortable; the bathroom alone was worth coming for. Everyone who worked there was nice and very helpful. We enjoyed a light lunch in the tavern,... More

We decided to drive up from Boston to explore Marblehead and after reading the reviews of the Harbor Light Inn, we called for a reservation. They had one room left and it was absolutely fabulous, combining the old world charm with modern conveniences. The morning breakfast was delicious and also healthy, and there was never a shortage of coffee or... More

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for a one night anniversary getaway. Everything was perfect. The room was delightful with a fireplace and canopy bed. Wonderful lighting from four windows. The front desk provided a map for a walk along the harbor and Fort Sewall. Breakfast was delicious and much more than continental. The sitting rooms on the... More

I live in Marblehead MA and my elderly parents stay here each time they are able to come and visit. The rooms are charming, clean and cozy and the food is excellent. Parking is a little tight and the "bar" they have is great for a quick drink. Excellent location for Old Town Marblehead and just a quick block to... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Harbor Light Inn from, February 20th to 22th 2015. Cassandra, the manager, was very accommodating, professional while still being warm and welcoming. They have delicious New England food on the menu which my husband ate in the cutest and smallest bar I have ever encountered. The room was well... More

My husband and I were desperate to get away from our snow blower for a few nights, and Mother Nature provided the storm free weekend for our escape. We took a chance on this inn, and went by the photos on their website to choose our room. We got everything we wanted, from privacy, to the king bed, to the... More
