Traveling with a small baby, 7 months, was challenging enough. Finding the perfect location for proximity, comforts and price proved much easier when we found Oceanwatch. Diane gladly accepted our baby as a guest and reminded us of the kitchenette area to wash her bottles and the refriderator for storing her food. Every morning there was a large decanter of... more

recently my husband and I had a weekend getaway to my home town Marblehead. We stayed at Oceanwatch located where the harbor and ocean meet. I have been in love with this location for sometime. It was enchanting. Our room was charming, the views were spectacular and the location allowed us to walk to great shops and places to eat..... more

I'm generally not a fan of bed and breakfasts, especially with young children, but the Oceanwatch is different. The home and grounds are beautiful and inviting. The views are spectacular and there is so much for us to do around the inn.The couple who owns and runs the property are as nice and helpful as any hosts I've ever met.... more

My husband and I went looking for a romantic anniversary week-end away from the kids and we were totally enthralled by the house, its setting, and the town of Marblehead. With unbelievable views and great little nooks and crannies of beaches and restaurants all within walking distance, we couldn't have chosen a better place to spend our anniversary. more

My wife and I stayed here for the last night of our Honeymoon in New England. I'm a bit saddened to read some of these reviews. I guess some of us just enjoy having our space? We found the location beautiful, the rooms comfortable and clean and the continental breakfast very pleasing. If you're the type of traveler who doesn't... more

When I stay at a B&B, it is usually because they are the best locations - places where no hotel could ever be built. Oceanwatch is that special place - situated in a small residential enclave with large homes on a peninsular at the mouth of Marblehead Harbor. There are views of the town, harbor and Atlantic Ocean. I felt... more

My wife and I stayed at this lovely place overlooking Marblehead harbor and Ft. Sewell. The view was to say the least - spectacular! We enjoyed our "cottage" in the back of the stately home and found everything very neat and clean. The owner told told us about different restaurants and we set out walking around this enchanting town. We... more

We stayed at the Oceanwatch for one night of our honeymoon. However, since this is our second marriage - we've been around. For our honeymoon, we traveled up and down the New England coast, staying at a different bed and breakfast each night. I used to live in Marblehead, and was excited at the thought of staying right out over... more

My wife and I stayed here at the end of our New England tour When we arrived the owner was out but a note on a white board invited us to choose rooms. She turned up as we were off loading our luggage. I agree with other reviewers that she is not keen to talk but did recommend the local... more

I cannot say enough about how great this place was - located in the best spot in the town - right at the mouth of the harbor on the Old Town Side - it has amazing views of both the harbor and the open ocean, and a great little beach right at the bottom of the driveway. You can walk... more
