17 Chestnut street was the second B&B that I've stayed in. Our hosts were wonderful and extremely friendly! We stayed in the bedroom on the first floor. It was very spacious and had a large private bathroom. The entire house was IMMACULATE! Prime location in Marblehead (such a cute town with some AMAZING RESTAURANTS!, which our hosts were happy to... more

17 Chestnut St. is another home. We were catered to by the warmest and friendliest sisters in this unique New England town. They provided excellent service, very clean rooms nicely appointed. Breakfast every morning had fresh fruit and homemade warm muffins and crousants to start the day. This I enjoyed each AM. Nestled 18 miles northeast of historic Boston,Marblehead is... more

This was the first b&b my wife and I have stayed at, and we couldn't have been happier. Beautiful house on a picturesque street in a quaint town, it was exactly what we were looking for. The home was spotless, everything was up to date (including an LCD tv in the bedroom) there was a wine/beverage fridge just outside the... more

This was the fourth time we have stayed at 17 Chestnut and it just gets better and better. Linda and Suzanne Thomas are a delight…more friends than hostesses. After a long day of being a tourist, it was a pleasure to return to 17 Chestnut and share a bottle of wine with the Thomas’. The home (it is much more... more

Do not miss this B & B in Marblehead. It is clean beyond words and perfectly appointed in and out and the owners are delightful, friendly and very helpfull. The breakfasts featured the most wonderful baked muffins, juices, and fresh fruit in a perfect dining room fit for a king and his queen. more

I have actually stayed at 17 Chestnut Street several times. Each stay has been more special than the last. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when I visit Marblehead. In fact, staying at 17 Chestnut Street has added to my Marblehead visits immensely. It is like home away from home without having to do the cleaning (it's immaculate!). Suzanne and... more

Marblehead is my favorite getaway and17 Chestnut Street is my favorite B&B in Marblehead. I have gone there regularly for some years now since I was fortunate enough to find it. It is located in the perfect downtown area. You can easily walk to shops, parks, beaches, the historic area. The house is lovely and the hosts, Linda and Suzanne... more

This is one of the most delightful places we have ever stayed. The house is beautifully located, charmingly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are all "home cooked" and are delicious. Best of all, Linda and Suzanne, the owners and operators, are wonderful people who welcome guests into their homes as friends. We spent evenings sharing a bottle of wine... more
